The Apurva Kempinski Bali is one of the most architecturally stunning hotels I have ever visited. The arrival experience, grounds and overall design are absolutely beautiful and there is no denying the visual impact of the resort. We stayed in a Cliff Private Pool Junior Suite and the room itself was very nice. Koral was also a highlight of our stay and provided one of the best dining experiences at the resort. However, I feel the hotel falls short when compared with other luxury resorts at a similar price point. We paid close to £500 per night, and for that level of spend I expected a more polished experience. The Club Lounge was good, but it felt more like a restaurant than a lounge. Service was inconsistent throughout our stay. On multiple occasions items listed on the wine menu were unavailable, room service requests took longer than expected, and a laundry enquiry was never followed up despite being promised. None of these issues were major on their own, but together they created an experience that felt less premium than the hotel's reputation and pricing suggest. The room pool was also smaller than expected and not heated, which made it less appealing than other luxury resorts we have visited. Overall, this is a beautiful hotel with incredible architecture and some excellent facilities, but I left feeling that the service and overall experience did not quite justify the premium price. I enjoyed my stay, but I would be more likely to try another luxury resort in Bali next time.

I was debating whether to post or not because I was considering gatekeeping this treasure to myself — but she deserves all the best. Lisna is absolutely my favorite here at the Apurva Spa (massage). I always ask for her because she is a true master healer. She knows the pressure points that really release those knots. Absolutely amazing strong gifted hands, with a wealth of knowledge. She gets me ever. Single. Time. She is just amazing. Will definitely be back to see her the next time I visit — and so should you. Trust me, you won’t regret it. Regarding the hotel and the facilities, the price is just right. Quite pricey, but well worth it for the facilities, the amenities, and the spectacular views anywhere you go. It’s like a museum or an art gallery, with several restaurants that are so hard to get reservations for on a regular — including the famous aquarium restaurant: Coral. Fabulous dining options, friendly staff, and just an excellent place to spend your vacation at if you’re looking to just stay in.

Our stay at this resort was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The views were truly breathtaking—every morning felt like waking up in paradise, with stunning scenery in every direction. What made the experience even more special was the exceptional service. Every staff member we encountered was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. Their kindness and hospitality made us feel right at home and turned an already beautiful stay into a memorable one. A special highlight was the spa experience with Padma. The service was outstanding, and Padma’s professionalism, skill, and caring nature made it one of the most relaxing and rejuvenating treatments I’ve ever had. It was the perfect way to unwind and truly enjoy my vacation. Between the spectacular views, wonderful service, welcoming staff, and exceptional spa treatment, this resort exceeded all of our expectations. We would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable getaway.

The service provided by Mbak Sri and Bayu was truly impeccable. They were exceptionally attentive to my family throughout our visit. They proactively replaced our used utensils without being asked, regularly checked on us to ensure everything was satisfactory, and thoughtfully noticed when our hot drinks were finished and asked if we would like to order more. And they even gave animal balllon to our toddlert I am genuinely impressed by and grateful for the outstanding hospitality demonstrated by Sri and Bayu. Their attentiveness, initiative, and warm service made our experience even more enjoyable. They truly deserve recognition for their excellent work and dedication to customer service.
