I had a wonderful stay at Maya Ubud Resort and Spa and truly cannot recommend it enough. The villa was excellent value for the experience. It was spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. The grounds are stunning and create a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere that feels perfectly in tune with Ubud. What truly made the stay exceptional was the service. The housekeeping and service staff were consistently friendly, professional, and attentive. I would especially like to give a heartfelt shout out to our butler, Darmen, and the amazing team of Puspa, Putra, and Wiartana. They went above and beyond to make my first trip to Bali truly unforgettable, anticipating our needs and adding thoughtful touches throughout our stay. Thanks to the incredible service and beautiful surroundings, I will absolutely be returning to Ubud and staying at this resort again. Maya Ubud delivers exceptional hospitality in every sense.

Stayed for 5 days in January 2026 under the luxury escapes package (heavenly pool villa) and the resort was beautiful. Every corner of it was pretty and every single person we interacted with, whether at check- in, the buggy drivers, when walking around, at dinner (Mayasari) at Tree Bar, at Riverside Cafe, the pools and the spa were so kind and friendly! The food at every outlet was delicious and presented so well. Without fail we were asked everytime about any allergies and dietary requirements which was great to see. The staff were aware of our package and everything ran like a well oiled machine. The activities at Maya were great, the rice paddy guided walk, Pilates and the evening shows. One suggestion would be to do an english narration for the ramayan dance so the guests can better follow the story. The cooking class was great fun, it was just 4 guests so we got a really good intimate class on Indonesian cooking! Our pool villa was great, the pool was cleaned everyday alongside the room, the floating breakfast was very yum and our 60 min couples balinese massage was so relaxing. The ladies took their time and made sure we were comfortable with the pressure etc. We had an amazing time and highly recommend to anyone considering Maya. We will definitely be back!

This was my husband’s and my first trip to Bali, and we feel very lucky that we chose the right hotel. It gave us a truly wonderful start to our journey on this beautiful island. The hotel’s facilities are undoubtedly five-star. However, what touched us even more was the genuine care from every staff member we met. Through them, we experienced the kindness, openness, and warm hospitality that Bali is so well known for. Our butler was always available on WhatsApp 24/7 and patiently responded to all of my requests, big or small. The breakfast and restaurant service was both prompt and friendly, and the room service food was delicious and delivered quickly. Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to remember everyone’s name, but I would especially like to thank Mr. Diaksha, Mr. Wiartana, Ms. Deiwei, and Mr. Ari from the gym 、Our butler Trisla and Yoga for leaving such a lasting impression on us. Thank you all for taking such wonderful care of us. We will definitely return with our family

My daughter and I spent six beautiful nights at Maya Ubud Resort & Spa and it was an unforgettable experience. The hospitality was exceptional and every need was met with genuine warmth and care. The butler team of Damen, Puspa and Wiartana were outstanding. They helped organise trips, arranged spa treatments and activities like batik painting, delivered ginger tea when my daughter was unwell, and even returned my reading glasses after I left them behind. Nothing was ever too much trouble. The spa is absolutely stunning, set by the river and surrounded by rainforest. The therapists were kind, highly skilled and left us feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated. Our driver, Budi, was friendly and knowledgeable and very patient while I explored the art and gardens at the Agung Rai Museum of Art (ARMA), which is well worth visiting. A truly special stay that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for rest, pampering and a beautiful cultural experience in Ubud. Thanks Maya, just what I needed.
