I'll start by saying that you get what you pay for, so no complaints on that front. The hotel is old, and they are cheap with using the air conditioning in the public areas (though the AC in the room is excellent!). At the bar by the far pool, they had no ice, so we ended up hanging out only at the main pool. There is another pool, but it's mostly for kid activities, and music is only played at that middle pool (the one with the kids' games). The beach is great-large with plenty of sunbeds. The bar menu is relatively limited, and the alcohol selection is extremely basic. There are also no snacks available at the bar. The dining room for breakfast and dinner was decent enough. However, in my opinion, lunch was not satisfying at all, so we ate lunch (and dinner) outside every day. The room was fine (dated), with a good AC and quiet. There is no walk-in shower, only a bathtub. There is a game room with arcade machines and billiards (paid), as well as free ping pong. The men's restroom in the lobby is terrible, there's a awful smell that seems stuck in the walls to the point that it's impossible to clean.

I had a very nice stay here at the Hotel. All staff members are very welcoming, from reception over the really nice guy who is collecting all the plastic the whole day to the animation team. Plenty of things to see and to do, perfect weather end of june. This Hotel has the best animation team I've ever experienced so far, which Billy leads with absolute joy and energy Just looking the shows and performance they all give-it is a blast. The Building is not new, so do not expect new state of the art design and technology, but it is fine as it is, why change? The Food and drinks were good, but although I had all inclusive I was trying 2 or 3 restaurants and a cocktail bar in the near to get a little variety. So all in all a rock solid 4 of 5. I will come back here.💯👍👌

Beautiful pool area, well-kept gardens, and a lovely private beach. The location is perfect for a relaxing resort holiday, and the sea views were stunning. We found the food better than expected based on previous reviews. There was decent variety, although the ingredients and presentation felt quite standard at times. Housekeeping worked well, service was generally friendly, and the shower water pressure was excellent. On the downside, the hotel feels quite worn and outdated. The rooms need renovation, furniture in the common areas was heavily worn, and some areas felt poorly maintained. The beds were extremely hard, even for the children. Drink selection was limited, and the hotel’s “Mamma Mia” à la carte restaurant was unfortunately very disappointing. That said, this is also reflected in the price point, and overall the hotel offers fair value for a more budget-friendly resort stay.

Disappointing service and poor communication – 2 stars I recently stayed at Sunshine Rhodes Hotel on an all-inclusive package and was disappointed by the level of service and hospitality. I arrived at around 13:00 after a 4-hour journey from London, two hours before the stated 15:00 check-in. I was simply told to wait until my room was ready. Nobody explained that I could use the air-conditioned reception area, access the all-inclusive food and drinks, or use the hotel facilities with my wristband. As a result, I waited outside in the extreme heat with my luggage and missed the included lunch. When I raised this with management, their response was particularly disappointing. They stated that these facilities were "available to me", but availability is not the same as actually informing and assisting a guest. I shouldn't have to guess how an all-inclusive package works immediately upon arrival. The luggage storage process was also poorly explained, with very little assistance from staff. I was also quoted €80 for a late check-out until 18:00, which I felt was excessive for just a few additional hours. Overall, while the hotel itself has some positive aspects, the poor communication, lack of assistance on arrival, missed meal and inflexible late check-out policy significantly affected my experience. I expected much better hospitality from an all-inclusive hotel.

We had a great stay! The hotel is in an excellent location, very close to the airport. You can definitely hear the planes, so if you’re a light sleeper or sensitive to noise, it might be something to consider. But it didn’t bother us at all.😄 Another big highlight was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, always smiling, and genuinely happy to help. Whether at the reception, restaurants, bars, or even the maintenance team who quickly fixed our hair dryer, everyone made us feel welcome and well taken care of. 😊🫶 The hotel has 3 large swimming pools, a beautiful, well-maintained garden, 2 tennis courts and a football field. There were always plenty of sunbeds available both by the pools and on the beach. The beach is rocky, but the sea is clean🩵 We also loved the bars, entertainment and music – they created a wonderful holiday atmosphere. 🫶 The rooms are probably the weakest point and could use some renovation. However, it didn’t affect our experience because we came to enjoy the sea and spend time outdoors, not stay in the room. 😄 The view from our room was beautiful, especially at sunset.
