We’ve just about finished our holiday in Rhodes, and we’re so very glad to have picked Mitsis La Vita hotel. There is a bus stop directly out the front to get the hop on and off bus, the pier is literally a 5 minute walk away, the beach is a stones throw away, and airport only 15 minute drive. We want to especially thank Ctamatia who cooked our eggs to perfection every-time, and they really are free range fresh. Despoina for your hospitality and ability to answer all our questions and being such a warm, welcoming presence on the front desk; they are very lucky to have you, and you deserve a raise! 💶 Nektarios has literally the BEST pizza I have ever tried, and I’ve been to Italy 4 times - this is a must try at dinner! All the cleaners are so diligent and work so hard, and this doesn’t go unnoticed. The room we had is a little dated, but does the job so could only give 4/5. The first room we had didn’t have a side sea view but Despoina swiftly made changes for us, and although the hair drier was broken, again we was provided and alternative, and a new one was hard wired in the very next day. The walls are VERY thin, so sleep was distributed through neighbouring guests chairs and furniture about. The bath/shower and rooms in general need quite a lot of snagging work to be polished and tip top, as filler has been used to “make good” some cracked tiles and the like. We would have liked to have the option of fully inclusive, as we missed the luxury of having drinks to the fullest extent. We would definetly return, and look forward to seeing expansion when complete!

Pros: We had great enjoyable time in Mitsis la vita. All team was very friendly and special thanks for Alabina 😊 Breakfast was quite nice, savory options like cheese, scrambled eggs, pancakes and fresh vegetables was enough. Location of the hotel was the biggest factor for staying in there. Just because you can reach all attractions in old town by walking. You won’t need to get an uber. Our room was clean and we got clean towels every day during our stay. Cons The construction site was enormous, and I was really curious about what it will look like once the hotel is finished :) Still, we didn’t let it bother us too much. As the rooms don’t have balconies, having a designated drying area would be very useful. I really struggled to dry my wet swimsuits and towels. A Coffee Machine would be great for the breakfast hall. Being limited to filter coffee at breakfast was a little disappointing. The pool was smaller than we expected, but we didn’t mind, as our little daughter was the only one who really used and enjoyed it anyway We would gladly choose your hotel again on our next trip to Rhodes. Thank you for your all hospitality 🩷

Good base for exploring Rhodes Town, with a few downsides My partner and I stayed at Mitsis La Vita for a few days. The hotel has a fantastic location, right near good selection of restaurants, and the beautiful Old Town is just a short walk (about 1 km) away. The hotel itself was clean and well-kept. The breakfast was decent, and we especially loved the live cooking station where you could order fresh eggs, omelets, and crepes made to order. Breakfast had a good selection of different tastes. However, there were a few downsides to our stay. The soundproofing in the rooms is very poor; we could hear almost every sound from the neighboring rooms and the floor above. Additionally, there is a large construction site next door (belonging to the same hotel chain), which caused quite a bit of noise disturbance and made it less relaxing to spend time by the pool. We were lucky to have our room on the other side of the building, so the construction didn't bother us otherwise. Speaking of the pool area, it is quite small and stays completely in the shade during the morning. It does, however, get lovely afternoon sunshine if you want to catch some rays later in the day. Overall, it’s a good base for exploring Rhodes Town due to its location, but the noise levels and nearby construction held it back from being a perfect stay.

Rooms were of a good standard overall. We booked a side sea view room — you could see the sea slightly, but the main view was mostly of the hotel/building across the road that was under construction. There was also constant traffic noise, so if you’re looking for somewhere quiet it may not be ideal, there was also a lot of noise from the other rooms. The cleaner on the 4th floor was absolutely lovely. She made different towel creations for us every day and we had a good laugh with her when we made one back for her! There is a bar at the hotel, although we didn’t use it as we were out most of the time, but you can view the menu and drinks were reasonably priced. Rooms were cleaned daily if you put the sign up, and the cleaning was always done to a very good standard. Breakfast was good with plenty of buffet-style options. The lady making the eggs, pancakes and omelettes was really friendly and welcoming. It does get very busy though, and at times it felt like there weren’t enough tables, with people waiting for them to become free. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from Old town, it's also 10 minutes to the harbour where you can find lots of different stalls offering to take you on different visits to different islands such as Symi and marmaris.

We recently stayed at Mitsis La Vita in Rhodes and had a really enjoyable experience overall. A couple of staff members truly stood out and made our stay special. Desplna at the front desk was always welcoming, helpful with suggestions on places to visit, and greeted us every day with a genuine smile. Rena, the daytime bartender, was also fantastic—always pleasant and went out of her way to help us get ready for our day trips, even filling our water bottles with ice. I’d also like to mention the woman cooking eggs at breakfast each morning—she worked incredibly hard and always had a positive attitude. You can tell the staff here really care. The beds were comfortable, and we were treated to some beautiful sunsets during our stay. There were a few downsides worth noting. The website mentioned free airport transfer when booking online, but when we called after landing, we were told to take a taxi, which cost us €30. The rooms are quite small, and the bathroom layout is a bit tight—the door only opens halfway due to the toilet. The rooms are also fairly plain, with no artwork or décor on the walls. Additionally, there is a large new hotel being built across the street, so the front-facing rooms can be quite noisy during the day. Overall, we had a good stay, largely thanks to the excellent staff and great location. With a few improvements and clearer communication, this could easily be an even better experience.
