The hotel's greatest asset is its staff—very friendly and hardworking—particularly the afternoon-shift receptionist, the lady making crêpes, and the restaurant team. However, comparing this property to other hotels, I feel it doesn't quite live up to its four-star rating; it could use a refresh. Our room was spacious; I appreciated the large bathroom with a shower, as well as the high-quality shower gel and soap. Housekeeping wasn't perfect and didn't happen daily. We had issues with the air conditioning, which was dripping water; on the last night, they had to turn it off completely because, instead of cooling, it started heating up, and the receptionist—after checking it—was unfortunately unable to fix it overnight. The hotel boasts a beautiful garden and mountain views. The food was decent—the selection was adequate, even though we spent most of our time away from the hotel. The fruit (especially watermelon and melon) and fresh vegetables for Greek salads were particularly noteworthy. Fish dishes and ice cream were also always available. Unfortunately, the drinks weren't tasty; there was a lack of real fruit juice. Two pools are available to guests: one was clean, while the other—featuring a swim-up bar—was dirty with murky water; it’s a real shame, as it’s a lovely pool. The water feature by the hotel entrance steps also needed cleaning; it would look much better if it were well-maintained. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the beach and 18 minutes to the town center. Right next to the hotel, there is a bus stop with connections to Lindos, Rhodes, Prasonisi, Tsambika Beach, and Epta Piges (Seven Springs)—a convenient option if you aren't renting a car. First time in a Greek Island and I absolutely loved it. The locals are so inviting and friendly including the cats. The hotel staff are absolutely lovely. The rooms are basic but very clean. The food was fantastic with lots of choice. Only criticism I have about this holiday was who ever did the painting on the outside of the buildings needs to be sacked 🤣 The pool swim up bar only works if you’re 9ft tall!

Anavadia was an exceptional stay that hotel staff drove it to an unparalleled level of kindness. All staff were really kind and helpful. From the very first moment of our visit, front desk lady as well as restaurant maitr and service staff were all really kind and willing to help and give appropriate directions on anything. A stay that well representing greek hospitality at its best!

The rooms are frequently cleaned and decent. The food is good, and the bartender - particularly Angelo, is lovely. He is so attentive, holds good conversation, and remembers things about his customers. I would recommend the hotel for him alone!

My parents, Dolores & John, have just returned from a 7-night all inclusive stay at Anavadia Hotel Rhodes and they honestly had the best holiday. They haven’t stopped talking about how amazing everything was from the moment they arrived. The staff treated them like royalty and went above and beyond every single day. Every member of staff always had a smile on their face, opened doors for them, and made them feel so welcome and cared for throughout their stay. Their room was spotless, beautifully presented, cleaned every day, with fresh bedding every second day. On the night they arrived, they were asked if they would like champagne brought to the table or to their room. They chose their room, and when they returned later there was a bottle of champagne waiting for them along with roses and Turkish delights — such a thoughtful touch. Thank you to all the wonderful staff for making their holiday so special and memorable. Highly recommend people to go and try it — it’s absolutely out of this world! They are already talking about coming back again!
