All of our cash was stolen from our hotel room. At reception, we were told that nobody except us and the hotel staff had entered the room. Guests are being robbed while the management turns a blind eye to it. I regret not reading the reviews earlier, because I am clearly not the first person whose cash was stolen from the room. After the theft, I was honestly scared to stay in the room because it became obvious how easy it was for someone to get inside. The key card for our room constantly stopped working, and we had to go to reception again and again to reactivate it. The man at the reception desk was very rude and did not even apologize. The restaurant staff were friendly and the food was good, but that does not make up for the terrible experience. The refrigerator was dirty, there was mold on the bathroom window, and the bed linen was never changed — the staff only made the bed without replacing the sheets. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and I will never return.

I have heard a lot of mixed reviews about this place so I’d like to share my experiences . The food is lovely and very worth the all inclusive me personally I’m really picky but their lunch / meal options are delicious . They have changing rotations of food every night . Although the food changes they’res always fresh pizza and chip with amazing salad option s and many choices of breads as well as some nights having a great selection of seafood including fresh prawns and oysters (great for sea food lowers as amazing options ) . They have ice cream which is delicious and creamy . The entertainment is quite good for younger ages and some nights older . The entertainment team is kind funny and helpful along with the rest of the staff . One problem though is we did notice after the cleaners had been out charger our wasn’t their which we still dont know weather was an accident or not we went to the shop to discover their 40 euros other than that great workers . The pools are great as one of the main 2 is heated and the other isn’t so you can change depending on how you’re feeling . Also just want to make sure for anyone reading this who is considering booking the slides are quite slow for anyone over the age of 12 due to them not being powerful enough and quite slow at that age due to ruff weight . Our only complaint is our room is quite far witch seems to be a different hotel or apartment complex merged into the SBH one which is quite the walk to meals but it’s quiet and mainly our fault as we booked a suit instead of a room but would have preferred some warning when booking . Also theirs a bus stop to the zoo really easy accessible and i would recommend the zoo 100% . Overall great food , great service , close to the beach and o would recommend to anyone planning on booking !!

Really happy with the holiday, next to the sandy beach, 3 bars, one overlooking the sea open till 3pm. One pool bar and one in the evening. Drinks are ok, cheap brands, cocktails not delicious at all. Breakfast every day the same, but lunch and dinner are fantastic, various dishes, seafood, cheeses, pork, goat, chicken, many salad options. Room was ok, I couldn't open the patio door and bathroom door was noisy to close. Air con worked well. All the staff very polite, smiling, professional, housekeepers, receptionists, animation team, waiters. There is a market on a Sunday just across a road. Nothing much to do in the area. Took around an hour to get to from the airport. Plenty of activities during the day, archery, rifle shooting, ping pong etc. There is a sport centre right next to the hotel, with free gym, paid minigolf and paid tennis court. Evening entertainment hit and miss, your usual bingo, dancing, white party. Kids club available. Plenty of sun beds, no wars, and this was during the half term. 2 swimming pools, one with the slide. One small shop with souvenirs and rent a car available. Public toilets clean. I havent see a single cockroach the whole week.

Was there 3 weeks ago in room 500 which is a good walk from all the amenities, the rooms are large and clean but in need of updating, the rails in the wardrobes we're really rusty and the living room had damp on the wall. The hotel itself is lovely with plenty of sunbeds, food is good if a little cold (but aways a microwave) drinks are good and barstaff very efficient entertainment on a night was quite good all in all a good holiday

This was the worst holiday of my life i would recommend noone ever goes here. The place is filthy and actually falling down beds have bugs there is also cocharoach infestation the food is vile I didnt eat a thing it is poisoness anyone looking for a holiday do not book this place there are plenty of lovely hotels and this place is not one of them in the middle of nowhere catered for germans and Italians no entertainment in English the staff in restaurant are rude god knows who they think they are they live on a dump of an island and looking down there noses at us as for the managing director the female who hides in her office behind the glass in reception your a very rude lady I heard you only been in job 2 weeks and I suspect you be out job very soon from the moment I arrived she looked down her nose she made my stay uncomfortable along with her restraunt staff I think yous all should hang your heads in shame the hotel is a complete dive your hotel is infested with mites and bugs and my friend was poisoned also a lady was attacked in her room hit over head whilst she was asleep read it up type sbh monice beach hotel german woman attack news read all about it stay away please or you will be gutted you lost your money there is also thefts at the hotel be careful and as fir the homophobic abuse I suffered at the hands of the German holiday makers was absolutely disgraceful I left that hotel in tears and I would never ever return to fueteventura in my life costa calma is a dive there is nothing there its like your trapped in prison I payed to be in prison basicaly I hope your hitel are proud and I hope tui are too I will never ever book with tui either as they where the ones who sent me here and took no responsibility for there missold holiday i government this hotel zero stars and the hotel board should downgrade this place to 2* as its falling down and someone is going to be seriously injured due to falling debris
