My wife and I went to Sandals Barbados to celebrate our anniversary and was not disappointed. We had a swim up room with a butler. The butlers (3) were awesome and took care of our needs as requested. They had our dinner reservations made for our entire stay prior to our arrival and always kept our water, coffee and sodas stocked. (Alcohol was also available but we do not drink.) The resort was very well maintained and kept up with an abundance of pools/hot tubs between both sister resorts. We ate at most of the restaurants available and we were not disappointed in any of the meals or service that we received. We booked a second vacation with Sandals Granada for 2027 and can't wait to go.

First visit to a Sandals and it didn’t disappoint! The room was ready on arrival and we were shown to it and given lots of information about the resort. No problem booking dinner reservations at the restaurant and time we asked for, the other restaurants only had a short wait, our favourites were The Merry Monkey, Portafinos and Bombay Club and both Butch’s were great too. Beautiful beach and always sunloungers available, we enjoyed the lively pool on the Royal side and enjoyed quieter days and the other pools. Highly recommend Sandals Barbados, so much so that we’re heading back again for the New Years celebrations in December for 3 weeks with our sons and daughter in laws, trying the Royal side next time, but as it’s one big resort, either side is fabulous! It was our first Sandals experience and we’re hooked, off to Sandals Grande Antigua too in May. Don’t be put off by negative reviews, of course problems can occur, but overall the staff and experience make it amazing! Highly recommended!

We are members of the Sandals club so have stayed at more than one Sandals/Beaches resort. If this had been my first Sandal's resort, it would’ve likely been my last visit. The grounds were beautiful. The beds were hard as a rock and other then when Amanda was present as our housekeeper, we didn’t get housekeeping. Amanda was amazing though. The quality service we expect from Sandlas was just lacking. The servers at the main pool bar wouldn’t serve the pool side and told guests they had to serve the out of pool side as a priority. Even when you were being served a drink, the staff made it clear they were not happy in their jobs. No smiles or friendliness. There were two great bartenders in the piano bar at night, Zadyn and Nakeem. They had the whole place happy and laughing. They stuck out like shining stars in a resort with poor service. They bent over backwards to serve everyone with a smile. The hibachi chef we had was very good. The French and Indian restaurants were great. Steer away from the main steakhouse - toughest prime rib ever! I do have to say the diving was quite good at this resort! The dive staff were knowledgeable and a lot of fun

We had to return to this marvelous place of refine hospitality, sumptuous dining, well made beverages (to include the best healthy smoothies at The Greens)!! We were more than pleased and plan to return for a longer stay. Thank you, Donesha Thomas (Loyalty), Marla and Shanice (Club Sandals), Manager Kimberly, Spa personell and managers (special recognitions to Sharon's extra friendliness and BC awareness💯❣ Also servers Shakira B, Darren (at Schooners - server and drnk master!! Shanice and Nakita at The Greens. Special recognition to Butler Shanquel. Thank you to the resort manager who leads with hospitality above and beyond!!!

First let me say we visited sandals exuma years ago and there was not ONE THING to complain about, so we arrived in Barbados with very high expectations. We booked a basic room because we didn’t plan on spending much time there, however, it was poorly kept up. We should have asked for another room, but we’re just not the type to sweat small things. But the small things just kept adding up. The room was pretty damp, but given the climate, forgiven. There was a gouge in cabinet around fridge, sliding rail door on bathroom was broken, paint smeared on doors/frames, and tub faucet didn’t work. We were missing ironing board/iron. Housekeeping skipped us one day. We had to re-use towels/washcloths because we were given one set per day. Coffee/cream not replenished daily. Maybe all of this could have been remedied had we complained, but it really felt like we shouldn’t have to ask at a resort of this caliber. We did have to call about the bathroom door because I got stuck inside and call housekeeping due to lack of towels. There was a near constant beeping/ringing heard outside our room; never really learned what that was. Many of the restaurant staff were unfriendly and made it clear they didn’t want to help. Almost all of the restaurants had long waits and the food was not even close to what we experienced in Bahamas. A lot went to waste because it just wasn’t good. Dinos pizza served us the worst pizza we’ve ever had; it was pre-made and had clearly been frozen. Later in the week, we saw them making dough and tried again. It was better, but what the hell were we given the first time? I booked a massage on the app, showed up to spa, and they had no record of the booking because app doesn’t sync well, but they fit me in and it worked out. The groundskeeping staff did an incredible job cleaning up debris after the heavy rains. The property is stunning. All of our tour guides and taxi drivers were friendly/fun/informative. Avery was a friendly/kind waiter at Butch’s and KerryAnn at Parisian was also very kind. They really stood out given that so many others were not friendly. Idk. I’m afraid that Sandals has made many budgetary decisions in order to cut costs or maybe, like many other things, it just fell off after Covid. I’m hesitant to ever book Sandals again because they seem to have lost the magic we experienced in Exuma. I hear they are turning Exuma Sandals into a Beaches. Boo! Sadly, Barbados missed the mark.
