My husband and I recently stayed at this property for our second wedding anniversary, and it was truly a memorable experience. From the moment we stepped onto the property, we were met with exceptional hospitality that made us feel welcomed and celebrated throughout our entire trip. As Titanium members, we were delighted to be upgraded to a beautiful oceanfront room, which was kept impeccably clean by the housekeeping team. We thoroughly enjoyed ordering room service each night; the staff was always incredibly kind, efficient, and professional. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the staff. They are kind, welcoming, and deeply compassionate. I unfortunately fell ill for a day, and the team’s empathy and care were remarkable—they even went out of their way to bring a fan out to me while I was having lunch to keep me cool. That level of thoughtfulness truly made a difference. We also found the concierge to be fantastic with activity planning, and the bell staff and taxi stand team were incredibly helpful to my husband throughout our stay. The property itself has an intimate, historic, and classic Caribbean indoor-outdoor feel. The pools are beautiful, with rock features that give the area a lush, jungle aesthetic, and the beach water is crystal clear and refreshing. We loved that we never had an issue finding beach chairs, and the resort never felt overcrowded. We are already looking forward to our return! Thank you to the entire team for making our anniversary so special.

We absolutely loved our stay at Colony Club. This is a quiet, clean, and quaint boutique hotel perfect if you’re looking for a low-key, relaxing experience rather than a busy resort vibe. The staff were genuinely warm and friendly, and the service throughout our stay was excellent. There are loungers everywhere with plenty of great shade options, so it never felt crowded or competitive by the pool or beach. The recently renovated rooms were outstanding easily on par with a true 5-star resort in terms of comfort and finish. Breakfast was good, though the space can feel a bit cramped during peak times, which was a minor trade-off given everything else the property does so well. If you’re looking for a peaceful, understated, and beautifully maintained hotel, this is a fantastic option. And for what it’s worth my wife is usually the first to find something to complain about, and she was extremely pleased. That says it all. We would absolutely return.

Very relaxing stay. Employees were very friendly and helpful. Beach is amazing. Pools are luxurious and the perfect temperature. Only down side is it isnt as happening as would like. We were at the main pool bar at 9pm and only one other couple there listening to live music. If you want relaxing place this the place for sure, but dont expect a lively nightlife.

What we loved about Colony Club: * Great beach and beautiful, clear sea - having spent time in Rockley and Mullins, we thought this is the best beach spot and you can walk close to 3 miles (up and back) along the beach from the hotel (with beach shoes on) * Great location - Can walk to local restaurants and shops * Multi million dollar refurbishment and everything was very new * Stunning gardens - wow! Humming birds, parakeets... * Happy hour 5-6pm each day (although not well advertised) - 2 for 1 cocktails and beer * Free beach sports - motorised and non motor - again not well advertised * Nice lunch options at the hotel * Free water always available, plus little titbits offered by staff during the day * Comfy loungers * Breakfast great for us - lots of choice * Snorkel (reef very close to hotel - go left on beach to marine park) - lots of great fish * Nice polite helpful staff * Buses outside hotel go to Speightsown and Oistins. Just flag them down - $3.50 all rides. We loved Speightsown. * Daily activities if want to participate. Ideally the leaflet should mention happy hour and list the beach activities that are free. * Live music Cannot think of any negatives! Loved it and would go again! We went on some fantastic trips (through Tripadviser) - swam with turtles, toured the island, electric bikes - wonderful holiday!

Colony Club is a wonderful hotel with an absolutely perfect location right by the sea 🌊. The ocean is beautiful, calm, and just steps away, creating a truly relaxing island atmosphere. The location is ideal — convenient, scenic, and perfect for enjoying everything Barbados has to offer. The service is excellent: attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. The staff makes you feel welcome and well cared for from the moment you arrive. A great place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the beauty of Barbados in comfort and style. 5 stars without hesitation. Highly recommended.
