Great location, the beach. Absolutely stunning. Rooms: due for an upgrade sooner rather than later. The hotel charges four season prices and the rooms are 4 star at best. One bottle of mineral water for your entire stay, not even wine glasses in the room. Everything (including the staff) feels tired. The restrooms in the main restaurant / probably 25 years old. Food average at best. Recognition as an Accor platinum member: 0. I never felt less welcome at an Accor property when checking in. Would not recommend. The 3 stars are generous and entirely due to the location and the walking distance to nice eateries.

Unfortunately i had way higher expectations for this propriety. The price you paid makes you expect a little more in two fronts: service and dining. The location is very good with beautiful beach and a nice feel. There are only two restaurants on site and they are really bellow a 5 star standard. There is nearly no service at the beach, so we had to keep trying to get attention of the bar staff, so if you expect to lay down and just enjoy maybe think twice. Overall the rooms were good, with amazing views.

We’ve been staying at the Fairmont for nearly 2 weeks. If you’re looking for a quiet beach vacation, this is a good spot. The ocean is calm, there are no harrassments on the beach to buy things. I’ve read the other reviews and have to agree that the hotel is due for a refurbish… I’m paying a Four Seasons hotel prices so I was a little disappointed that the hotel is a bit tired. It’s an excellent property - every room has an ocean view - which isn’t always easy to find. You can go to sleep listening to the waves - so the location is exceptional. Also exceptional is the friendliness of the staff, and the cleaning staff is amazing. The room is tidied twice a day. The balcony provides a lovely morning and evening retreat with comfy lounges - love it. The restaurant can use some upgrades with the menu which is limited but there are so many restaurants to try on the island - at least when we eat here it feels easy. We also had issues with the TV streaming of the World Series which they tried to remedy multiple times - apparently also a problem with their service provider. On occasions where we couldn’t get a signal, we received profuse apologies and were comped drinks at the bar where that tv streaming worked. Finally, I’ve had many spa services in the room - I recommend the jet lag massage. I would return here - I’ve had a lovely time and I hope someone invests in this property soon - it has so much potential.

We visited this property in 1988 before we were married. We came back for our 35th anniversary this past week. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. We appreciated the upgrade to a suite and the bottle of champagne upon arrival. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very pleasant. We were disappointed that the Palm Terrace was closed for our entire stay. That led to long waits for breakfast. The menu at Tabores was the same throughout our week stay so it would have been nice to go to the Palm Terrace for dinner. This led us to venture out for dinner to other restaurants for six of our seven nights there. That being said we will certainly return.

Hotels are nothing without great service, and the team at the Fairmont made our experience unforgettable. Every member of staff was warm, friendly, and attentive — nothing was ever too much trouble. We especially appreciated their thoughtful recommendations for discovering the island’s best sights and hidden gems. The location is simply unbeatable — we spent hours relaxing on the pristine beach and swimming in the turquoise ocean. We’ve stayed at properties across the world and this is the perfect Caribbean getaway — and one we’d highly recommend to anyone seeking luxury, relaxation, and genuine Barbadian warmth.
