We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. Everything was excellent, the staff were friendly, professional, and always welcoming. The housekeeping service was outstanding, and our room was always spotless. A special thank you to Niroshan and Mary from the housekeeping team. They were incredibly helpful, kind, and always ready to assist us with anything we needed. His excellent service made our stay even more enjoyable. We truly appreciate his hard work and would definitely love to stay here again.

We’ve stayed at Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island before, but unfortunately standards have noticeably dropped. From check-in, the staff were not particularly welcoming and there were very few smiles, which isn’t what you expect from a premium Rixos property. The buffet food also became very repetitive. After raising this with the chef, changes were made and food was prepared more to our liking, which we appreciated, but guests shouldn’t really need to complain for this level of service. Housekeeping was another disappointment. Beds were made daily, but very little else seemed to be properly cleaned. We even had dead moths left on the worktops for the duration of our stay. The hotel’s biggest attraction is the waterpark, so check the opening days carefully before booking. Mondays are now closed, whereas previously there was limited access for hotel guests. The last Wednesday of the month is also ladies-only day. This means that on a 5-night stay you could potentially only get 3 usable waterpark days. Also bear in mind that waterpark access is not included on your checkout day, so a late flight doesn’t necessarily give you an extra day at the park. The resort itself still has plenty of potential and the waterpark remains a major attraction, but based on our previous visits, the overall Rixos standard has definitely slipped and needs improvement.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. Rooms are spacious and staff and very helpful and friendly. Food is really good. They do have a variety of different foods available at the pool side from food carts as well as in the dinning lounge. Ask them about the all inclusive at the waterpark since access is included in your package. That was a huge plus you can eat from all the vendors in the water park too. It was 100riyals extra per night. Totally worth it The waiter that assisted us from breakfast (her name is May) an absolutely gem. Always had a smile on her face and made sure everyone was comfortable and taken care of. Would definitely go back.

We stayed here for long weekend. First they give us a room in floor#3 .. and when we entered the room we found a man in the room relaxing while he was waiting for someone and it turned out that he is fixing the lights so he ( takes the light with him ) and go out!! The room was not ready to have us yet and not clean there was open snakes on the table..! We went out to the lobby and inform them and they changed the room (without any upgrades for the bad service ).. they give us a room in the first floor (1367).. it was clean and the air conditioner was very cold but.. (no soap and no shower gel ) we again requested to have them … This is not like our previous experience in other Rixos hotels.. we took the full package but we found that it’s only one restaurant!! And in the lounge if you want to have sweets some of them extra charge!! For the sea or pool or water park it closed 6PM and open at 10:00 AM.. but in Qatar it’s too hot and sunny you can’t go out before 4 pm !! For the service in the restaurant you will ask for the drinks ten times then you will have to bring it by yourself! And the food is not that different in lunch and dinner every day.. It’s not my first time here in Qatar and I prefer to go to other hotels like Sheraton and come to the water park as a guest not to this hotel .. To be honest my experience in the spa is fine .. and they have good customer relations.. the average prices for the spa is from 500-600 riyal .
