An absolutely unforgettable experience! This is by far one of the best five-star resorts I’ve ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with outstanding hospitality. The warm reception and the personal butler, who was always available to help with anything we needed, made us feel truly special. The resort is breathtaking—beautifully designed, incredibly spacious, and impeccably maintained. The villas are well separated from each other, offering complete privacy and a peaceful atmosphere. The beds are huge and exceptionally comfortable, making it the perfect place to relax. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options and stunning views overlooking the sea. The pool is large and beautiful, and the room was cleaned twice a day, which was a lovely touch. Getting around the resort was effortless thanks to the buggy service—every time we called, it arrived within less than a minute. If you’re looking for a place to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of Thailand and enjoy true luxury, peace, and exceptional service, I couldn’t recommend this resort more. Everything was perfect, and I can’t wait to come back!

My recent stay at The Ritz-Carlton Reserve, Krabi was undoubtedly one of the best experiences of my life. From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome and seamless check-in process made us feel truly special. The hospitality extended throughout our stay exceeded all expectations. The cocktail experience was exceptional, and every aspect of the resort reflected luxury, comfort, and attention to detail. The beach was absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere. We also thoroughly enjoyed the activities organized by the resort, especially the Hong Island excursion and other engaging experiences, which made our trip even more memorable. The swimming pool was beautiful and perfectly maintained, adding to the overall relaxing and luxurious ambiance of the property. A special mention goes to our butlers, Naini and Jake, who were simply outstanding. Their professionalism, warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care made our stay extraordinary. They anticipated our needs before we even had to ask and ensured every moment of our vacation was flawless. Phulay Bay, A Ritz-Carlton Reserve – Rather disappointing for the Price and Brand Arrived with high expectations given previous stays at other Ritz-Carlton properties and the resort's positioning as one of the rare Ritz-Carlton Reserve destinations. Unfortunately, the stay fell well short of what that brand promise implies. Rooms: Spacious and nicely designed with an open layout — a clear highlight. Worth noting that Reserve villa categories are not standalone villas but shared between two units, so noise levels can vary depending on your neighbours. Property & Amenities: The lobby makes a strong first impression, but many other areas of the property feel underinvested and in need of renovation. The pool (a single large pool), spa (one hot sauna, one steam sauna, a whirlpool) and gym (tucked away in the lobby basement) would be perfectly acceptable at a mid-range Marriott — but they fall notably short of what you'd expect from a Ritz-Carlton Reserve at this price point. Service: The butler service was a genuine bright spot — responsive, attentive and well-organised. Other service touchpoints, however, including breakfast and activities such as Pilates, were inconsistent and below the standard Ritz-Carlton is known for. Food: The Thai restaurant Sri Trang was excellent, with fast and attentive service. Breakfast, on the other hand, offered a smaller selection than comparable hotels we visited during the same trip, and on several mornings wait times for coffee were frustratingly long. Overall: A perfectly fine hotel if measured against a standard Marriott. As a Ritz-Carlton Reserve — one of the brand's most exclusive tiers — it lacks the spark, polish and consistency the designation commands, especially given the strong competition in the Krabi area and the premium pricing. We left rather disappointed.

The villa was spacious, beautifully designed, and offered incredible views, along with thoughtful amenities that made the stay even more comfortable. Every detail reflected elegance and attention to quality. The dining experience was equally impressive, with delicious cuisine, fresh ingredients, and impeccable service at every meal. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every moment was special, always greeting guests with genuine smiles and professionalism. Whether enjoying the private beach, spa, or simply relaxing by the pool, every experience felt exclusive and memorable. If you're looking for a luxurious escape with world-class service, stunning surroundings, and complete tranquility, Phulay Bay, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve is an outstanding destination. I would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone seeking an exceptional vacation experience.

The property itself is beautiful and very well designed. We stayed in the Royal Villa, which was stunning, spacious, and very private. The resort manager, our butler, and the staff overall were warm, gracious, and consistently attentive throughout the stay. Where the experience fell short was mainly on value for money. The food was enjoyable but fairly average for a property at this price point, with a moderate breakfast spread and somewhat limited options for vegetarian guests and those with shellfish allergies. Meals and spa experiences also felt quite overpriced relative to the quality. The activities were good but could be more elevated given this is positioned as a Reserve property. Overall, a beautiful resort with excellent staff, but the overall experience did not quite match the very high price point compared to other luxury properties.
