We spent a few days at the resort and, overall, had a wonderful experience. The food was undoubtedly the highlight of our stay. Our children especially enjoyed the pool, the wide range of activities, and we also loved the three-island tour. We greatly appreciated the outstanding service throughout our stay. A special thank you to the entire pool staff for their kindness and helpfulness, to Sao and her team for their professionalism and attention to detail, to the bartender for his excellent recommendations, and to the housekeeping team for maintaining our room to such a high standard. Our first impression, however, was a little disappointing. We may simply have arrived at an unfortunate time, but despite it being the low season, our arrival seemed to go unnoticed. The check-in process took quite a while, and it took about half an hour for our luggage to be delivered to our room. Although we called reception and someone answered, nothing happened, so we eventually had to go to the front desk ourselves before our luggage was finally brought to us. One small suggestion would be to offer freshly squeezed fruit juices. While frappés were available, it was not possible to order a fresh fruit juice without ice cream. With Thailand's amazing selection of tropical fruits, this would be a wonderful addition to the menu. Despite the less-than-ideal arrival experience, we left with many wonderful memories and would happily recommend the resort.

We had a very pleasant one-week stay at Sofitel Krabi and overall were extremely satisfied with our experience. The pool is absolutely fantastic and was one of the highlights of our stay. While the rooms are starting to show their age, this was only a minor issue as the hotel is currently undergoing renovations, which is great to see. We especially appreciated the variety of complimentary activities organized by the hotel. They were enjoyable, well run, and added real value to our stay. Our only suggestion would be to promote these activities more prominently, as many guests might otherwise miss out on them. A special mention goes to the hotel bar team, who consistently provided excellent service in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The Indian food in the restaurant is great. It’s easy to find a grab to go to town. We would also like to thank Tom at the reception. He handled our requests and solved the issues we encountered with remarkable efficiency and professionalism, making a real difference to our experience. Thank you to the entire team for a wonderful stay. We would be happy to return and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Krabi.

Just left after four days, three nights and very impressed. As you would expect in Thailand the staff are absolutely amazing and all go out of their way to help and provide outstanding service. Special mention to the staff in the Maya restaurant at breakfast time, excellent 👏 Gym is well equipped. WiFi no issues (doesn’t like VPN’s though). Pool area, clean and spacious. Rooms are large, clean and serviced well. A coffee machine would make things even better. Highly recommended, would 100% return.

We recently stayed at the Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort and had a wonderful experience overall. The rooms were absolutely 5-star – spacious, beautifully maintained, exceptionally clean, and very comfortable. The resort itself is stunning, with excellent facilities and a relaxing atmosphere throughout. The service deserves a full 5 stars. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, and the level of hospitality really made our stay special. The only reason I marked the location slightly lower is that the resort is some distance from the lively centre of Ao Nang. For shopping, restaurants, nightlife, and entertainment, we found ourselves regularly using Grab taxis, which was a little inconvenient. That said, the quieter location will be a major advantage for guests seeking a peaceful and relaxing escape. Overall, this is a beautiful luxury resort with exceptional rooms and outstanding service. If you’re looking for a tranquil retreat in Krabi, I would highly recommend the Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort.

We’ve stayed at many family resorts over the years and seen all kinds of kids’ clubs, but the Kids Club at Sofitel Krabi truly stands out as the best we’ve experienced. This was the very first time I felt comfortable leaving my children in the care of a kids’ club and that’s entirely thanks to the incredible team. A special shoutout to Sandy, who was so patient, gentle and genuinely caring. My children trusted her almost immediately, even without me being around, which gave me complete peace of mind. What impressed me most was how engaged the staff were with the children. Many kids’ clubs simply supervise children in a room, but not here. Every day was packed with thoughtfully planned activities. The children went to the beach, played games in the pool (with the staff actually getting into the water to join them!), enjoyed arts and crafts and took part in so many fun experiences. It was clear how much effort and energy the team put into making every child feel included and entertained. It’s an incredibly demanding job and they did it with smiles on their faces. The absolute highlight of our stay was the Saturday foam party. It was such a fun and memorable experience for the kids. What surprised us even more was seeing the hotel manager, Christian, wearing two hats by being the live DJ for the event! It speaks volumes about the culture of the hotel when the manager is so hands-on and genuinely involved in creating memorable experiences for guests. I shared photos and videos of the foam party on Instagram and so many friends messaged me asking where this amazing kid-friendly hotel was. Thank you to Sandy, Christian and the entire Kids Club team for making our holiday so special. We’ll definitely be back and recommending Sofitel Krabi to family travelling with young children. The location is a little far off but you could always take a Grab. Best places to visit would be Central Krabi for shopping (30 mins car ride) and night market (15 mins car ride) and the elephant sanctuary (10 mins ride)
