Staying at Sofitel Krabi for 5 nights with family and overall had a very enjoyable experience. The property itself is beautiful and spread across a vast expanse of landscaped grounds, giving it a true resort feel. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well maintained. The breakfast spread is excellent, with plenty of variety for both adults and children. The Kids Club is a great addition for families, and the dining options deserve special mention — both White Lotus and Venezia were outstanding and among the highlights of our stay. That said, there are a few areas where I believe the resort could improve, especially considering Sofitel is part of a global luxury hospitality brand. Service standards felt somewhat inconsistent. Housekeeping often arrived in the afternoon when guests are typically back in their rooms, and we had to specifically request morning servicing. While not a major issue, it affected the overall guest experience. The Kids Club also comes at an additional charge, which was surprising as many comparable luxury hotel chains, including InterContinental, offer this as a complimentary family facility. Similarly, the in-room dining delivery charge of THB 250 Baht each time felt excessive for an in-house service. I also experienced the spa, which is positioned as a premium offering and is priced accordingly. The facilities are luxurious and the therapist was highly skilled. However, the treatments felt rushed, as though multiple services were being fitted into a fixed end time. While technically excellent, the experience did not leave me feeling as relaxed and refreshed as expected from a luxury spa. Overall, Sofitel Krabi is a good family resort with excellent facilities, great dining, and spacious accommodations. With some improvements in service execution and guest experience consistency, it could truly match the standards set by the best luxury resort chains.

If you are staying at the Sofitel Krabi, do yourself a favor and spend an evening at the Explorer bar! The atmosphere is wonderful, and one of the highlights is the exceptional live music in the evenings! A special mention goes to Focus, who is an absolute ray of sunshine. She is incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, bringing so much warmth and joy to the bar. Beyond her wonderful personality, she is also highly professional, always attentive to guests’ needs and delivering outstanding service with genuine care and efficiency! We would also like to recognize Tas, an outstanding bartender. If you are unsure what to order, don’t hesitate to ask for his recommendation. That’s exactly what we did, we trusted him completely, and every cocktail he prepared was excellent! Together, Focus and Taz make this bar a place you will want to return to again and again. Highly recommended for anyone staying at the Sofitel Krabi. Don’t miss it! 🍸🎶✨

Absolutely incredible family vacation! The family room is great if you have small kids, especially the bunk beds and tent inside the room is super fun. Food, thai indian and Italian are all superb! Special mention to Kathy at the lounge. Took incredible care of us! Our check in by Moddang & checkout done by Apple were super smooth and easy. Housekeeping staff did a beautiful turn down service for the evening as well. Yu & Boom at the recreational areas played table tennis with us and pool. Fun! Extra special mention for Nanur at the kids centre where my niece could enjoy and do her colouring for hours. ❤️ We will be back VERY SOON!

Just left after four days, three nights and very impressed. As you would expect in Thailand the staff are absolutely amazing and all go out of their way to help and provide outstanding service. Special mention to the staff in the Maya restaurant at breakfast time, excellent 👏 Gym is well equipped. WiFi no issues (doesn’t like VPN’s though). Pool area, clean and spacious. Rooms are large, clean and serviced well. A coffee machine would make things even better. Highly recommended, would 100% return.

Had a good stay with my family. Kids loved the premises, play area and the pool. Hotel staff was very helpful. It was a delight to be hosted in Club Millesime by Kate, Pepsi and Troy. Apologies for not remebering the other staff name at the Club and the Hotel. Team was kind to upgrade the room and took care of our special requests (including for kids) Were taken good care on the Hong Island Trip booked through hotel conceirge. Since, the resort receives many India guests, consider adding more Indian Food in the breakfast especially Dosa (was informed the equipment to make DOSA is not there) Kids activities are on the expensive side
