We absolutely loved, loved, loved our stay at Maya Sanur. We stayed in an Ocean View Villa, and it was an absolute dream—beautifully designed, incredibly comfortable, and so peaceful. The bed was one of the most comfortable we’ve slept in, and the room itself felt spacious, calm, and thoughtfully done. Breakfast was a highlight every single morning. The buffet spread was generous and high quality, and the à la carte options were just as good—everything felt fresh, well executed, and indulgent without being overwhelming. The coffee was excellent, which always makes a difference. The location is fantastic. The beachfront promenade is right there and takes you on a lovely walk all the way to ICON Bali, making it easy to explore while still feeling tucked away in a serene resort setting. We also really enjoyed the on-site dining. RUE served delicious pizza and was perfect for a relaxed meal, while Tree Bar was great for dinner—lovely atmosphere and solid food. On top of that, the hotel is close to some excellent restaurants in Sanur, so you’re spoiled for choice. Overall, Maya Sanur strikes the perfect balance between luxury, comfort, and location. A truly memorable stay, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Our stay at Maya Sanur Resort & Spa was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly located, with stunning grounds and a relaxed luxury feel that makes it so easy to unwind. The three restaurants at the resort, Rue, Kuu & Tree Bar were all fantastic, each offering something different while maintaining exceptional quality. Every meal was delicious, & beautifully presented. Having such great dining options on-site truly enhanced our stay. A very special mention must go to our amazing room attendants Asmika and Hendra. Their attention to detail, kindness, and care were outstanding. Our room was always spotless, beautifully presented, and refreshed with such thoughtfulness each day it truly made us feel so comfortable and well looked after. We also want to sincerely thank Angga at the service desk, who went above and beyond to assist us. Angga was always warm, professional, and genuinely eager to help, making every interaction easy and pleasant. The staff at Maya Sanur are what truly set this resort apart. Their genuine hospitality made our stay memorable, and we left feeling relaxed and refreshed. Highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for exceptional service and a truly special Bali experience.

We stayed at the Maya for 4 nights with our two boys and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were amazing and spotless. Cleaned twice daily. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The buffet breakfast was amazing and worth every penny. The pool and beach were also very nice. The overall look of the hotel is so beautiful. Felt like a real haven in sanur. Both restaurants attached to the hotel on the main street were fantastic.

From the moment you arrive, the resort provides a well-rounded and thoughtfully curated experience designed for relaxation, comfort, and convenience. One of the most impressive aspects of the resort is its excellent beachfront facilities. The restaurant and swimming pool located directly along the beach are particularly outstanding, offering beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere throughout the day. Another highlight is the kids’ club on the fourth floor, which provides complimentary childcare for a set number of hours each day—a feature that is especially valuable for families traveling with young children. The resort also excels in thoughtful guest services. Complimentary umbrella and bicycle rentals make it easy to explore Sanur comfortably, even under Bali’s strong sun or occasional rain. Inside the room, the amenities are well-stocked and diverse, and the bedding is exceptionally comfortable, contributing to restful nights. Notably, unlike many older resorts in Sanur, Maya Sanur feels refreshingly modern—likely due to its relatively recent construction. This is particularly noticeable in the cleanliness of the tap water, which felt significantly better than at many neighboring properties. However, there are a few areas where the experience could be improved. The sunbed on the private balcony tends to become completely soaked during heavy rain, and the cushions take a long time to dry. As a result, the balcony seating is difficult to use during the rainy season, and some form of rain protection would greatly enhance usability. Additionally, the Chromecast function on the in-room TV did not work reliably, making it frustrating to stream or enjoy personal content during downtime. Overall, Maya Sanur Resort & Spa offers a sophisticated and family-friendly luxury stay, with excellent facilities, attentive services, and modern comforts that set it apart from other resorts in the area. While a few practical issues remain—particularly during the rainy season—the resort remains an excellent choice for travelers seeking a high-end and well-rounded experience in Sanur.

We had a fantastic few days in Maya Sanur. The hotel is very conveniently located along the beach front. The staff is absolutely amazing and very friendly. Thank you to Leli, Budirastu, Panji, and Nadya at the reception and our butler Rendi for assisting us during our stay. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable with lk the amenities. Had a great time. Will surely come back! Thank you.
