Great place to stay and easy access to Tokyo, staff are so helpful and club lounge is the bees knees! This excludes the afternoon tea and evening food which is a little weak hot select poor and not enough if the lounge is busy! Gym ok but free weights poor, however did not spoil our trip thank you

Absolutely wonderful hotel with superb location. Had a bay view room with a great view of the Rainbow Bridge. The hotel is a short walk from Hamamatsucho Station. The bed was very soft leading to some great sleep. And the customer service was top notch as well.

I first stayed at the Intercontinental Hotel Tokyo Bay over 30 years ago when I was working next door in the South Tower. I was in and out of the hotel for almost 9 months and I loved it then and I love it even more in 2026. The rooms, the view, the service and the location are all exceptional. I flew into Haneda Airport (which is a "jackpot" vs, Narita from a distance to Tokyo City center) and took the Monorail to Hamamatsucho Station, which is a short distance from the hotel, This station is on the Yamanote Line which makes a large circle around the city of Tokyo, getting you close to most everything. With luggage, the walk from the station can be a bit of a small challenge, but the hotel now has a shuttle bus from the station which runs a couple of times an hour (check their schedule on line). My room reservation included a breakfast buffet on the 3rd floor and Club level snacks in the afternoon on the 20th floor. The food and service in both, is outstanding. The rooms are large, from a Japanese standpoint, and everything is quiet and luxurious. An example of the service came early on when I could not find a TV channel in English. The instructions on the remote control were all in Japanese. I took the remote to the front desk, and other than trying to instruct me how to get to a couple of English channels, the front desk employee came with me up to my room on the 24th floor and made the necessary adjustments. I cannot say enough positive things about the hotel and it's staff. I highly recommend it to any Tokyo visitors.

There were several positive aspects to our stay at the InterContinental Tokyo Bay, but the shocking treatment we received at checkout completely ruined our experience. The Stay & Location: The location is close to the Ginza shopping district, though quite far from Shinjuku and Shibuya. Check-in was quick and the room size was decent. The breakfast staff were friendly, accommodating, and great with our baby, offering decent options. Housekeeping and in-room dining staff were also very helpful. However, the hotel falls short on consistency: the concierge was difficult to deal with regarding external laundry requests, and the property is not entirely baby-friendly—several staff members repeatedly rejected our requests to warm up our baby's food, though other team members happily obliged. The Checkout (The Core Issue): Despite a significantly dusty room, I was entirely happy to pay all of our incidental charges (breakfast, dinner, laundry) at checkout. Because my wife, our baby, and I were in a rush to catch our flight, I requested standard 5-star protocol: to settle the disputed room charge via the credit card on file or a secure payment link later. Instead of professional courtesy, the checkout Duty Manager immediately resorted to aggression and threatened to call the police on me in front of my wife and baby to force immediate payment. Management Stonewalling: To be treated like a criminal over a legitimate room dispute is a profound insult. When escalated, local management (Satoshi Iyoda) actively sanitised the incident in writing, completely ignoring the police threat and insultingly blaming me for the timing of our complaint. He is now actively gatekeeping the General Manager and senior leadership, offering a dismissive 10,000 points to make a safety and intimidation issue go away. As an IHG One Rewards member, I am appalled. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone who expects basic respect or standard 5-star hospitality. Senior management needs to investigate this immediately.

This Hotel is terrible. Located in A business area of Tokyo,, it has a great view of the Bay Bridge, but no viewing area from inside the hotel. There’s no area in this hotel, where someone can go sit quietly and read or just relax and view the scenery around the hotel. The Manhattan restaurant has a great view, but it’s only accessible by reservation and during opening hours of the restaurant. As an IHG member, I was upgraded to a room facing the city rather than the waterfront. As a IHG member I paid for my stay using points, but was told since I use points it did not include breakfast lunch near dinner. A separate $105 charge was needed. I was unable to adjust the room Temperature, and was cold most of the night. If you are a vegan, this hotel is not for you. several restaurants in the hotel, with a very poor or no vegan option. As far as food go, the portions I find were very small. Not a good price bargain. This hotel is only for staying at it, when someone else is paying.
