Absolutely lovely hotel in a stunning location. Staff are wonderful and all so helpful and friendly, they really enhanced our stay. Location is fantastic and so beautiful. Also very quiet. Rooms are always clean and everything replenished daily. Would definitely recommend this hotel and stay again

On the whole we had a very good holiday. Great food and drinks. Amazing staff who were always happy to assist with a happy and helpful attitude. The grounds were immaculate and well maintained. However there are a few things which need improving. 1. RIU App. The RIU app needs a redesign to cater for Android phones, there is clearly a disconnect between app developers and testing. Speaking to fellow guests IOS (iPhone users) had no issues, whereas speaking to users with Android we all had the same issues. Speaking to guest relations they laughed when we asked about using it, they knew the Android app had issues. Booking Al La Carte restaurants for more than 2 people was not possible until I enquired at reception, and advised to add number of guests and room number into the comments section. iPhone users had the option of up to 12 guests! I won't dwell more on this as this is not a hotel issue but a RIU issue. I can only suggest that you get a few people together in a room with both IOS & Android phones and test and see the differences then engage with your developers to align the apps. 2. Adults only pool area. Why wasn't a pool lounger drinks service an option? Most hotels provide this including RIU. Cleanliness of recovering used glasses was hit and miss, some days there were dirty glasses everywhere, other days staff were consciously going around collecting them. At the adults only pool, the shower was working but the drain was blocked, with a big pool of water that never drained away. Maintenance staff tried cleaning it several times during the day, with a lot of noise and smells (which was unpleasant and not expected), it was eventually resolved (probably only temporarily) a couple of days before the end of our holiday. It would be better to have a foot wash shower next to the beach as most people including ourselves were rinsing our sandy feet off, as this was the only shower near the beach, and this then clogged up the drains. 3. Beach safety. No lifeguard support on the beaches, again most hotels provide this especially as the sea changed daily which could catch out a few guests. 4. Evening entertainment. Was generally poor and not what we were expecting for this class of hotel. 5. Wi-Fi coverage. Although the Wi-Fi coverage was generally good, there are a few areas where it disconnects and then you have to reconnect again, especially the covered walkway from the Palace reception to the guest rooms. Also there is no coverage at all on the beach which was disappointing. Summary. A great hotel with great food and drinks with comfortable quality rooms, with lovely staff, only let down by a couple of minor improvements, which would then make it an excellent hotel.

We had a great time at this hotel for a 2 week holiday in Oct 2025. The hotel is spotlessly clean and food is really good. All the staff are friendly and happy to help, so a big thank you to all of them who contributed to our holiday. The rooms are a good size, but slightly disappointed that there was no spirit dispenser in the minibar as usually found in other Riu Palace. A La carte restaurants are difficult to book - it was about 5 days to get in one, so if you’re on a short vacation, you would need to book them early. Food and service are great though. The pool is quiet and plenty of Sunbeds to choose. Guests do reserve, but you don’t really need to. The beach is very windy so you need to be a beach lover to go there every day. I would like to see some separation in the sea to protect swimmers as there are numerous windsurfers etc coming right to the shore, so some protection is needed. I appreciate that there are many water sport guests at this hotel, so they should be given somewhere to launch too. Slightly disappointed that there was some evidence of building materials (tiles / blocks) still on the beach from the demolition / construction process, so it would be nice to see this cleaned up. We did the under waterfall helicopter with Air Mauritius from the airport - it was amazing. Can book this with the hotel rep. Overall a great time was had, so thank you to the Riu team.

Hotel was great, beautiful well kept grounds. Room was a good size with amazingly britisg power sockets. A minor issue with the shower. Staff were really polite, helpful and cheerful. Facilities were great, plenty of pool activities in the adjoining Riu Turquoise with a quieter pool in the Princess area. Restaurants, bookable and turnup were really good and the buffet restaurant had a great selection. Bar staff were really helpful and would serve you quickly and were cheerful. Step off from the hotel ground onto beautiful golden sands and clear seas, albeit a bit windy, though a short walk round along the beach to a less windy location, both from which you can see the sunset. A long the beach water sport beginner and enthusiasts takjng part in kite surfing and othets. In the opposite direction a walk to the accessible Le Marne mountain, a must for those who like hiking. Definitely a place to visit

I had an amazing holiday, when I stayed in Hotel Riu Palace, the room was nice, clean and spacious, lovely views from balcony , on a pool and beach. The staff were very good every where, happy friendly smiles and very helpful. Very quick service in a bar, on the top off everything. Evening entertainment is also very good, special white night. Beach is clean and very long , good for a long walk and sunset. The one minus is , there is no a ATM in the hotel. I had a problem with a TUI rep and manager , the trip was cancelled and I was not informed, it was a problem to have a money back and compensation was a problem. I was with TUI many times and never had a problem before. I will recommend this hotel is it even better than a 4 star ⭐. Beautiful place for holiday for family and adult only.
