The Tamassa all-inclusive programme includes the following:

  • Breakfast at Show
  • Lunch in the hotel’s restaurants or a picnic basket for guests on excursions (24-hour notice required)
  • Dinner at Show (buffet) or Playa (a la carte, for guests staying in Superior Rooms, Ocean Superior Rooms, Tamassa Family Rooms and Family Suites) – the hotel reserves the right to close one restaurant throughout the year
  • Guests staying in Tamassa Rooms get a 20% discount at Playa for lunch and dinner (applicable on food only)
  • Afternoon tea served every day at B-Bar (3.30pm to 4.30pm)
  • Drinks in all restaurants and bars, including soft drinks, tea, coffee, beers, wines, juices, mineral water, cocktails and liquors (until 12 midnight, daily)
  • In-room tea and coffee-making facilities
  • Minibar, filled with water, juices, soft drinks and beers, refilled once a day
  • Beach and poolside service as per the hotel schedule
  • 24-hour room service (tray charge applies)

We had an absolutely wonderful time at La Playa Restaurant, thanks to the exceptional service provided by the team. A special mention goes to Jaya, Loana, and Santana, who were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely caring throughout the entire experience. Their professionalism and friendliness made the atmosphere feel warm and inviting. A heartfelt thank‑you as well to Mr. Siven, whose leadership and dedication to great hospitality truly show. His presence added an extra touch of comfort and ensured everything ran smoothly. From start to finish, the service was outstanding and made the visit memorable. We are already looking forward to returning for another amazing experience.

The hotel is amazing, and the front desk staff provide very good service. However, the bar staff’s behavior was disappointing. A simple proper greeting would already make a big difference. We were on an all-inclusive package: 8 people in total, with only one child. Asking for 6 beers should not be considered excessive, yet the staff reacted as if it was a problem. The attitude at the bar felt as though they were the owners of the hotel. What was also very disappointing is that I had informed the hotel about my late check-in, which was entirely my responsibility. Instead of arriving at 14:00, I arrived at 21:00. I kindly asked for a late check-out as a favor. I had booked three rooms, but the request was refused. I understand that late check-out depends on availability, but with three rooms booked, I believe they could have made an effort to accommodate at least one room.

By far one of the best places to stay and enjoy vacation in South Mauritius! The resort has everything for all kinds of people. We chose Tamassa for our honeymoon stay. From decorating our room to a special breakfast on the beach, Tamassa was really amazing for us! They have a lot of activities and the resort is very spacious. It's a bliss to walk around the beautiful paths around the pool. The beach is also near and clean. We also enrolled for a couple spa, which was great too! The resort is also lively, and we really loved the vibe. The food is the best we had in Mauritius! The breakfast had a vast selection, including vegetarian and Indian dishes. Few things to note - if you are not on All Inclusive package, the water and room amenities like tea/coffee are chargeable. So, please ensure to buy water bottles from near by supermarket as the in room prices are very high. Everything else is great! I highly recommend staying at Tamassa when in Mauritius! :)

Whata place to holiday. Tamassa Bel Ombre has the lot! We lucked into a great ground floor room a stones throw room the beach and pool! From arrival to departure we had no issues at all with the Tamassa. Staff were attentive and very customer focussed. Food and wines were good, along with the icy cold local beers! Loved staying here and definatrly come back.

3.1.26-10.1.26 We recently stayed at your hotel for 7 days during our holidays and would like to share our feedback regarding our experience. While there were some positive aspects to our stay, we unfortunately encountered several issues that affected our overall satisfaction. The Wi-Fi connection was poor from the time we arrived, which forced us to use our own mobile data throughout the stay. Room cleaning was usually done in the afternoon, which was not always convenient. We also noticed that used plates and empty beer bottles collected from guest rooms were stored uncovered under the stairs, which raised hygiene concerns. Service at the bar was inconsistent. On one occasion, a staff member took our order and did not return. In general, the main bar staff did not seem attentive, and we often had to wait a long time before our orders were taken. Similarly, some buffet staff members appeared uninterested in assisting guests. On Monday, I specifically asked a staff member about when the foam activity would take place in the swimming pool for the children. I was informed that it only happens on Fridays and Saturdays. Unfortunately, when we were present yesterday, there was no foam activity at all. This was disappointing, as guests rely on staff information to plan activities for their children. It is concerning when incorrect information is provided. We also found the bed and pillows to be very hard, making it difficult to sleep comfortably. Considering that we paid Rs 170,000 for a 7-day stay, we feel that the level of service provided did not meet the standards expected at this price point. However, we would like to commend the staff at the Playa restaurant and Mr selven (from the main bar), who were welcoming, professional, and provided excellent service.
