Not best pleased with checking in after waiting a grand total of 26 minutes!!! Definitely not the best first impression. Other than that, the facilities are pretty bang average, but the iconic pink theme somehow makes me feel happy. The location is brilliant, the rooms do the job, and despite the long check-in, we are still pleased with our stay as of yet.

Nice hotel to stay at. Casino, several eateries, and a flamingo exhibit. The rooms are certainly nice, but nothing to write home about. It's a little dated, but not bad. Some of the lobby employees could be friendlier, but they do have to deal with a lot of people throughout the day. Overall, a positive experience hi handsome 😘

Had to stay at the Flamingo for a conference and I would not do it again. They charge a $40 per day resort fee and yet you cannot access the pool b/c it's open to the public so there are never any open chairs (unless you want to pay extra for a private cabana). And it's a small pool for the size of the hotel so it's often standing room only, and it closes at 6pm. What is the resort fee for if you can't use the pool? There are no other amenities provided. No in-room coffee. Not even water bottles provided on arrival. Their internet in the rooms is notoriously spotty. The hotel looks really worn down in many areas. Carpets coming up and just taped down with duct tape. You can't nap in your room during the day b/c the pool is constantly blaring rave music - we were on the 14th floor and it was still so loud. Rooms were clean and there are some decent restaurants on site - those are the only positives.

I typically love the flamingo hotel due to its convenient location! I’ve stayed 3 times and this last time was terrible. The spa over charged us and then “lost” my receipt so they couldn’t explain their charges. The WiFi never worked for me and I had to call IT services every 24 hours to get WiFi (poor service in the room so I couldn’t even FaceTime without WiFi). The first time IT told me that I didn’t have authorization to be on the WiFi because my name didn’t appear on their end… weire because I booked it. I was on a call for 40 minutes and they had me do weird things with my WIFI IP address just to use the WiFi. They charged the wrong card on file after I spoke to the front desk about switching cards and they assured me they would charge the correct one. Someone puked in the pool (which the pool party was so fun highly recommend their pool! but gross at the end) but when we asked the floor level housekeeper for a towel because no one had been in our room for 2 days, she gave us attitude and told us that we weren’t in her section and denied us. I called the front desk to get towels which were delivered 7 hours later due to a “shift change”. They finally came to my room at 11 pm… our check out was the next day so we never had a clean room. I had to leave my garbage outside the room to get picked. I doubled checked that I selected room service daily because the house keeper that finally gave us towels, gave us attitude as to why our room wasn’t cleaned claiming that we chose not to clean it. I hope one day the Flamingo can go back to having good service and employees that follow through!

Gal who checked us in was less than friendly. Acted like we were inconveniencing her. There seemed to be a problem activating our room card for parking because we had to call each time to get out of the lot. It's frustrating that we had to pay $20 per day to park when we are a guest of the hotel. Fridge wasn't working and they either didn't bother checking or did nothing about it. We bought a weeks worth of groceries for an event that we needed to provide our own lunch so having a working fridge was necessary. When we got back to the room we discovered it still wasn't working and brown water was leaking out. We waited until midnight for a service call to show but they never did. Finally during the middle of the night we heard the compressor turn on and it got cold. Disappointed that the pools closed between 5 and 6 pm. Not all guests are there to gamble and it would be nice to sit in the pool in the evening. What is the $350 resort fee for? We were there 7 nights and didn't get room service. We finally asked the desk but all they did was make the bed and not change the sheets, didn't fill the shower items, nor emptied garbages, nor vacuumed. Had to leave garbages and towels outside the door after several days. Someone vomited in the pool and they used a net to clean it but I sure hope once they closed that it was sanitized. Requested shower gels to be filled because we were totally empty but had to call again after 2 hours because no one had shown up. They did come up right away after the second call.
