⭐☆☆☆☆ We are really disappointed with our stay. When we came back to our hotel room in the evening, we suddenly found a cockroach inside the room. For a hotel room, this is absolutely unacceptable. We immediately went to the reception and asked for a different room. Unfortunately, we were not offered a room change. Instead, a staff member came to the room and sprayed some kind of cockroach spray on the walls for about one minute. We were told that the cockroaches would die immediately because of it, but this quick “solution” did not make us feel comfortable or confident that the problem was actually solved. We expect a hotel to take issues like this seriously and provide a proper solution for its guests. Finding a cockroach in the room and then not being offered another room was extremely disappointing. Based on this experience, we cannot recommend this hotel.

My partner and I have just returned home from a 3 night stay at Eix. What an amazing little hotel. The rooms are lovely and spacious. The breakfast was incredible! There was so much to choose from! We spent a lot of time at the beach as it was only a short walk away. The location was perfect, so many shops, restaurants and bars to go to! We will most definitely be back

Nice hôtel. Lovely helpful staff. Great location with huge free parking for my rental car across the road. Excellent breakfast buffet. Evening buffet not bad either. Great garage with tools, shower and compressor for the bikes. Only slight issue is the safe in the room is 15€/week!! Always seen room safe free in hotels. But apart from that little drawback it was a great stay. Will probably come back there next time

Paid for breakfast. Got no breakfast. The morning before departure day we asked for breakfast in a bag as we leave at 5.30 AM. “Sure! No problem! We’ll bring some sandwiches to your room in the evening” At 23.00 we still had nothing. Asked reception; she blamed her collegue for not having arranged anything. Also, this woman could not help us now, because as she put it: “we have nothing and it is not my mistake”. Terribly rude woman (nightshift from 13th to 14th of may). A big hotel has NOTHING at 23.00 or 05.00?!? No fruit? Slice of bread with cheese or meat? Candybar? A bottle of water? Nooooo. Nothing. Nada. Oh yeah, at check-out I did have to pay the 5,20 we spent on drinks at the pool. Could’ve not let me pay it, as a small compensation for no breakfast. I even asked. NEVER going back to these rude cheapskates.

Needs new beds asap!!! I was very disappointed about the comfort levels, the beds were extremely squeaky, and very hard and uncomfortable. Everytime I moved in bed during the night it was so noisy it kept waking me up and I could also hear the guests bed in the next room squeaking loudly everytime they moved! The breakfast was good, lots to choose from - I recommend going to the chef near the back of the canteen where they will do tasty customised freshly fried eggs/omelettes. I have stayed here twice previously over the past few years and it was great before, but I won’t stay here again unless I know that they have new beds! I have never slept so bad! I also remember there used to be a very friendly gentleman for many years working here and he would greet the guests in the canteen and that personal touch is now also missing as I didn’t see him this year.
