Extremely disappointed in our accommodations given the nightly room fee of $650/night. Breakfast is not offered on site. You have to go to a food truck in the parking lot. There is no daily room refresh. You can get clean towels after 3 days . If you would like them sooner, you need to let the front desk know. Same with the room’s coffee station. It has enough coffee for 1 morning. They will replenish it after three days unless you put in a request at the front desk. You are given 2 bottles of water for your entire stay. The nearest ice machine is broken. There is an air conditioning unit in a closet in the room. It is loud, sounds like a furnace and turns on and off all night. I’m been going to different resorts for the past 50 years and just took it for granted that all resorts, especially the expensive ones, offered the above amenities. I guess not. Lesson learned. Know what you’re getting (or not getting) before you book here.

We typically alternate staying toward the town center and near the southern part of the island. Whenever we are craving the town center we always book at Diamondhead. It’s proximal to the downtown area, but has everything you need on site. Beach access, Cabanas food and drinks, and an indoor dine in restaurant for an upscale meal. Service is always top notch. We’ve stayed here with and without kids and we always have a great time at the pool! Also, you can’t go wrong with MoJoes Coffee in the AM! Just wish they were open a little earlier!

I love Diamondhead, BUT I really wish they would switch ALL of their downstairs bar stools!!!! I think they were trying to do a trial run on 4 very comfortable, light, sturdy, durable black bar stools. If that was the plan I think they should switch out all the bar stools immediately! The 40lb grey/white bar chairs that are like moving a beer keg should be thrown in the garbage! I feel bad for the older folks that come in and have to go through a days worth of manual labor just to sit at the bar.

Love the location, rooms and amenities are nice. We checked in this Wednesday and were told we would have room service once on Friday. Room service consisted of towels and emptying garbage. I inquired why the sheets weren’t changed, bee not made, nothing picked up. You get full room service once if you stay 5 nights. We are here for 4 nights. At $450 a night, I expect more than one service and at least a full service. We had to go get extra toilet paper, dish soap etc. if you aren’t going to service the room please stock the room with extra essentials. Top notch property cutting yo many costs for the amount they charge..

Diamondhead is the absolute best place on Fort Myers Beach, whether you’re looking for a wonderful evening with amazing food for you are looking to have a fruity drink by the beach. Their rooms are very nice. The service is impeccable. I highly recommend them.
