Our stay at the CM Castell de Mar was absolutely wonderful. The hotel itself is fantastic, but what truly made our experience unforgettable was the incredible staff. Every single member of the team was kind, attentive, professional, and always ready to help with any request. They genuinely make you feel special and welcomed from the very first moment. It’s rare to find such a dedicated team that consistently goes above and beyond to ensure guests are comfortable and happy. Without a doubt, the people make all the difference, and this hotel is lucky to have such amazing staff. A well-deserved 10/10 for their attention to detail, professionalism, and outstanding customer service. We will definitely return!

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel and would like to thank the entire team for making our holiday so enjoyable. Every member of the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The team at the pool bar was especially kind and always served us with a smile. The food was excellent, and both the kitchen and restaurant staff did an amazing job. Our room was cleaned perfectly every day, and the housekeeping team kept everything spotless. The reception staff was also outstanding—always friendly, professional, and always ready to help. This hotel is also perfect for families with young children. There are plenty of activities and entertainment throughout the day, thanks to the amazing animation team, who did a fantastic job keeping both children and adults entertained. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and will definitely come back. We highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel is located on the first line by the sea and offers a beautiful sea view. It is a quiet and peaceful place, perfect for a relaxing holiday. The food in the restaurant is of good quality. There is a swimming pool on site, and many shops, clothing stores, car rentals, and leisure spots are located nearby. You can exit the hotel directly onto the beach. There is also a large promenade nearby, ideal for morning runs or yoga sessions. I had a small issue during my stay, and Sasha at the reception solved it immediately. Her smile is absolutely charming. I also interacted with another friendly girl during check-in and a polite young man at the reception — all the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The restaurant menu changes every day. The waiters are professional and attentive without being intrusive. You can ask them to prepare something specially for you. The rooms are clean, and the towels are changed every day.

I called the day before my sister arrived as they were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary there. They spent their honeymoon there 50 years ago. I asked if they would make it special for them and they said we make special for all guests but would put champagne the room. Just spoken to my sister and there was no champagne, no fridge, no air con and no coffee machine. Plus my sister isn’t very well with an eye infection. This is so disappointing for them and has ruined their holiday . If I hadn’t called in advance it wouldn’t be so bad but I wanted them to have the best time . Did not happen. If you read this before they leave on Monday, do something to make up for the disappointment.

My experience with Castell de Mar was extremely disappointing and honestly shocking. I lost around €800 because of their complete lack of basic human understanding. I had booked a stay for Semana Santa, but due to a serious medical emergency in my family, I was forced to cancel. I informed them in advance, explained the situation clearly, and asked for a simple solution — not even a refund, just the possibility to reschedule the stay for another period. They refused everything. No flexibility. No empathy. No effort to help. Just a cold, rigid response focused only on keeping the money. What is most upsetting is not even the financial loss, but the attitude. When a business shows zero compassion in a genuine emergency, it says everything about how they treat their guests. Policies are one thing, but hiding behind them in situations like this is simply unacceptable. Many hotels understand that unexpected situations happen and choose to act like decent human beings. This is clearly not one of them. If you’re considering booking here, be very careful. The moment something goes wrong in your life, don’t expect any understanding — only strict policies and zero support. I would never book here again, and I strongly advise others to look elsewhere.
