The staff are all fantastic, friendly helpful and professional. The food is excellent with a wide variety of choice. The beach is superb, the snorkeling even better. The rooms are good, we had a couple of minor issues, which in fairness, the friendly staff fixed very quickly - you can't ask for more than that. There is air conditioning so that's a positive. The bed is large with a firm supportive mattress - also good. So the resort is excellent, the rooms good - but the quality of the staff is the best factor.

It was my first solo trip experience and I loved everything about it. The Island is not far away from Male. I really enjoyed going snorkelling with manta rays & diving with Ibrahim. Shoutout to Rafiqul who is the best barman. The food was great & in your premium all inclusive Package you also get two free excursions. The massage at the spa was amazing. Thanks to everyone who made my experience unforgettable.

Our stay at Cinnamon Dhonveli Maldives was a truly wonderful and positive experience. The beach was exceptionally clean, and the lagoon was full of marine life — we saw many colorful fish and even small reef sharks. Around the water villas, there were plenty of fish as well, and we loved sitting on the deck and watching them swim just below us. It was incredibly relaxing. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis, and the breakfasts were different each day. Everything was fresh, tasty, and well-prepared. The service was excellent — friendly, attentive, and very professional. Our villa was spacious, spotless, and equipped with all the necessary amenities, which made our stay very comfortable. The transfer from the airport by speedboat takes around 25 minutes, so it’s quick and convenient. Overall, our stay was extremely enjoyable, and we would genuinely recommend Cinnamon Dhonveli Maldives to anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful, and well-maintained resort in the Maldives.

An amazing and calm resort on a small island about 40 mins by boat from Male. Excellent facilities and service, beautiful sea, great cuisine - all you need for a nice holiday. What made this place exceptional was the staff at all levels: all the teams starting with an excellent chef, great cooks, all waiters and restaurant staff, bar attendants, last but not least the facility cleaning staff, all were always very nice, always helpful, smiling and very polite. Even if any workers only passed by, they always said HI and were corteous. All staff worked very hard, were always there for us and taking care of us on holidays regardless of day time, temperature, their human troubles and tried to do all possible to satisfy our needs and wishes. On the other hand their care was very respectful and not intrusive, over-exegerated and annoying as it sometimes happens. I wish this THANK YOU for employees’ nice and positive attitudes regardless of their role and position, got to every staff member - they are doing GREAT work and made our holiday in Cinnamon Dhonvelli in the Maldives even nicer! We always enjoyed talking to them! Unfortunately we do not remember all the names of all staff we met, but would name at least a few of them who made our days in the resort nicer and even more comfortable: talented and very inspiring Indian yoga teacher Shreya, who always guided us through great yoga sessions, never forgot to combine asanas with pranajama and other limbs of true yoga; always smiling and positive Imanya at the salad bar, excellent and “magic wok guy”Tharindu, great “pasta guy” Ruwan, always caring Baghya, Nyiaz and many others in the restaurant, Rafi and Suraj at the beachbar, nice and always helpful front officers and diligent cleaning staff. Special thanks goes also to the Maldivian crew of the dive center! Thank you so much, hats off! Wish you all the best!

We spent 5 days and 4 nights at Cinnamon Dhonveli Maldives in an overwater bungalow with the all-inclusive package, and the entire experience was exceptional. Our flight landed early, yet we barely had to wait at the airport — the speedboat transfer was perfectly organized and departed within an hour. The ride took around 20 minutes. Upon arrival we were welcomed with genuine warmth, and after a short briefing we were pleasantly surprised that our bungalow was already ready at 10 AM (instead of the usual 2 PM). We could also enjoy the morning snack as part of the all-inclusive package right away. As GHA members we received three complimentary experiences, which was an unexpected and much-appreciated gesture. We chose the Swim & Snorkel tour, a 30-minute couples’ spa treatment, and a romantic beach dinner — all of them were wonderful. The overwater bungalow was exactly like in the photos: spacious, cosy, well-equipped and with a beautiful view. Throughout the island we only met professional, kind and attentive staff, always smiling and always ready to help. One of the things we valued most was the resort’s clear commitment to sustainability and protecting the island’s ecosystem. PET bottles are not allowed on the island, no drinks are served in plastic, and transportation is done only by electric vehicles, bicycles or on foot. Everything on the island — including the beaches and the surrounding ocean — is extremely clean and well maintained. The all-inclusive dining experience was fantastic: delicious food, desserts, great variety and plenty of options. We never felt like anything was missing. There are also several activities available, such as tennis and table tennis, and the small but well-equipped gym was perfect for our workouts. Overall, we had a truly amazing and unforgettable stay. This resort exceeded our expectations in every way, and we can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting the Maldives.🩵🦈🌅
