This enchanting resort in Laamu Atoll is located in beautiful surroundings with lush vegetation, wide expanses of sandy beach and a natural Saltwater lake. You’ll stay in an exquisite villa which has been designed in a minimalistic style and furnished to perfection to ensure total comfort. Local and international gastronomic delights at the Kaagé Restaurant will satisfy the most discerning palate and you can sip fabulous cocktails and refreshing drinks at Dhirun’Bar and Ko’Bar. We arrived in Malé on the 10th as scheduled. Our international flight landed on time, but we were informed that the hotel’s transfer aircraft would not arrive until 6:00 PM. As a result, we were forced to wait eight hours for the transfer. Eventually, another aircraft arrived, but instead of flying directly to the hotel, it first landed on a different island and then took off again. Because of this disorganization, we reached the hotel only at 9:00 PM, completely exhausted. An entire day of our vacation was lost. A hotel representative, Shruti, acknowledged that this situation was the hotel’s responsibility and initially promised a cash refund. Later, however, this promise was withdrawn, and we were told that any compensation must be handled through the travel agency. Now the agency has informed us that the hotel’s proposed compensation is 100 USD. For two guests who lost a full vacation day and endured extreme fatigue after a long international journey, this amount is absolutely unacceptable. It does not reflect the seriousness of the inconvenience and feels more like a formality than genuine compensation. This experience showed a lack of proper transfer planning, accountability, and respect for guests’ time. I strongly advise future guests to carefully consider this before booking, especially if arrival transfers are involved.

We waited 8 hours for the hotel transfer in Malé due to poor organization and arrived only at 9 PM, losing a full vacation day. The hotel admitted responsibility but offered just $100 for two guests, which is unacceptable and disrespectful. Poor service and planning.

We went to Rahaa 4 resort on the 15 of May for 10 nights. It was quite a journey to get there ! 3 flights and a speed boat 😁. When we got there it was a nice warm reception by everybody 👍. It was going into the monsoon season . When we go to the maldives, it's generally that time of the year. It rained a couple of times at night and one day for 20 minutes max over our stay. It was hotter than most islands as it is in the south near to the equator. There are 100 villas on the island, and our ambassador called aziz ( a great lad ) who was looking after us told us that at the moment, there were only 16 guests on the island 😁. A great result for us as we got pampered and looked after really well👍. I have to mention that the staff were FANTASTIC from mohhamid, who looked after our room, Islam, who looked after the bar, the waiters in the restaurant, the chefs ,the boss of the island Mr Johnson, the duty managers , the doctor, the HR young lady and many others on the island couldn't do enough for us . There was not a great deal of choice in the restaurant ! ( sometimes there can be too much). But none of us failed to have a nice meal any day. The slight letdown on offer was at breakfast ,but that was here and there,nor was there a problem. All we had to do was ask, and they would pull out all the stops to get it 😁. It was so nice and quiet as we were very few guests, wonderful 😁. If it is your first time to the maldives, I would highly recommend this island as it is a VERY REASONABLE COST and a good introduction to the maldives . A word of warning keep your eyes open for THE CHICKENS 🤣🤣.

Update after 2 months of downtime. There are annoying problems. 😡 We really enjoyed our stay. The entire dive center, the massage team and the bar are all very friendly and helpful. We had no problems and were able to enjoy a stress-free vacation. The rooms were always clean and the food was delicious and varied (remember it is a small island and there are not many options). We would like to thank everyone and would come back again.🌴 Addendum: I've been waiting two months for a medical report for my insurance because I had to go to the doctor at the hotel. After really asking several times, I keep being put off, which really annoys me. It's best to take a detailed report with you if you have to go to the doctor. An invoice is not enough for many insurance companies.

Our first visit this far South, humidity was 84% temp was 32 but felt like 40 this holiday was recommended buy my Nice / PA ever so thankful, this was our second visit to the Maldives we know it’s not a 5 star but we found the staff where so welcoming and with a new manager Mr Johnson the food wasn’t over the top but it was more than enough, just spoilt for choice that’s all, now the rest of all the staff Mohamed, Brando,Sam ,Aziz , Islam and not to mention Sam on is own at the Cobra bar all outstanding and unforgettable plus all the rest of the staff, not forgetting my Nephew comment on a previous review regarding the chicken’s
