We had an amazing stay at Canareef Resort Maldives and it truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was outstanding — the staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The island itself is beautiful and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. We loved the long stretches of beach, the natural surroundings, and the overall calm vibe of the resort. It felt like a private paradise. The food was another highlight of our stay. There was a great variety, and everything we tried was fresh and delicious. The dining experience, especially with the ocean views, made it even more special. We also really enjoyed the activities, especially dolphin watching and the evening entertainment. Every day felt well spent without being rushed. Overall, this was a memorable experience for us, and we’re grateful for the wonderful service and atmosphere provided by the team. We would definitely recommend Canareef Resort Maldives to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable island escape. Looking forward to visiting again!

Great weather, great people, all the staff great you when you go past them. Really welcoming and always smiling. A few things could be better, food is not available all day even with all inclusive package. The activities are good but the sunset one could have some music playing, the dolphin one could have a little intro about the dolphins, for example why we xan only see them in the morning at a certain place, how do they live, what do they eat. Just general information would be a nice addon. The rooms aircon is more of a fan than an aircon. There were a lot of ants in our room but the staff got ride of them relatively fast. Kayaks, it would be nice to know where one can find the fishes as there were really not many. Jet was pricy but fun. The fun tube was a blast if you get the hardcore version. There are buggys that carry you around the island but you can get free bicycles if you wish. You can go to the local island but you need a paper declaring you are not going to migrate there. Also make sure sholders and knees are covered due to their religion. All in all it was fun

Just got back from a great week at Canareef, first thing to say is that all of the staff were brilliant, the room was kept spotless by the housekeeping team. Restaurant had lots of variety maybe a cautious eater might struggle on some days but as the main restaurant was closed for refurbishment this may have been a factor, for me a less fussy eater all was great. Drinks at meal times were restricted to wine and beer and soft drinks. The beach in front of the villa was quite rocky with coral pieces so make sure to take water shoes. The only negative comment was that I am an avid fisherman and was keen (part of the reason we choose Canareef) to go out on the game boat but on arrival was told that it was out of the water for maintenance, no effort was taken to provide an alternative game boat just the offer of the resort dhonni on which I caught a wahoo and although the crew were great it wasn’t what I’d looked forward to.

Had a very satisfying stay at Canareef Resort Maldives. The overall experience was relaxing, peaceful, and well worth it. The property is beautiful, and everything was well maintained, making it a perfect getaway. The transfer experience was smooth and enjoyable, with a scenic speedboat ride between Gan Airport and the resort both on arrival and departure. One of the highlights of the trip was the dolphin watching experience, which was truly memorable and added something special to the stay. It was also great to explore the nearby local island, offering a glimpse into Maldivian culture. The resort itself has a good selection of bars and restaurants, serving tasty food and drinks in a relaxed atmosphere. A special thanks to Ravindu, who was extremely helpful throughout the stay. His support and attention to detail really made a difference and enhanced the overall experience. Would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a calm and enjoyable stay in the Maldives.

We had a fantastic stay at this wonderful resort. Our house was very spacious, and the outdoor bathroom was absolutely lovely – showering under the palm trees was a truly special experience. A special thank you to our room attendant Md. Shazib, who did an excellent job keeping everything spotless and surprised us with beautiful decorations. The resort itself is very large and offers plenty of activities. We also completed a diving course, which was an amazing experience. The dives with our instructor Daniel were adventurous and unforgettable. The food was varied every day and consistently delicious. As someone with a gluten-free diet, I always found plenty of options to choose from. The restaurant staff were incredibly kind and attentive, especially Mr Htin, who stood out for his exceptional service. Thank you once again for this wonderful stay – we are already looking forward to coming back!
