The hotel is situated in a great location, spanning two adjacent islands. We were fortunate enough to receive a room upgrade during our stay. The service here is highly attentive and welcoming, with several Thai staff members on the team. We were especially well taken care of by Ms. Gam from the moment we arrived. The international staff were also wonderful and always smiling; even during the complimentary breakfast, Chef Surya made it a point to come over and chat with us every day. The food quality is quite good across the board, whether it is the breakfast, a la carte options, or the buffet. The Thai dishes are excellent as they are prepared by a Thai chef. However, the beverage selection is somewhat limited and slightly high-priced. Keep in mind that restaurant reservations on the island are highly recommended, particularly for dinner. There is a wide variety of activities to choose from, though most come with an extra cost. While it is possible to walk to the different areas across the property, the heat can be intense, so we mostly relied on the hotel's convenient shuttle service. The only minor drawback is the internal communication app, which can be quite slow to respond; calling directly is much faster and easier.

Five days in paradise, and I don’t want to leave! My best friend and I visited Centara Mirage Lagoon at the end of June and it honestly exceeded every expectation. The resort is brand new and immaculate, easy to navigate on foot or by buggy, and the over water villa was absolutely stunning. We had fish swimming right beneath the stairs every single day. The weather was perfect (only 1 hour of rain the whole stay) and there was no shortage of things to do. Yoga with Sebastian was a highlight, and the turtle snorkelling is not to be missed. As vegans, we were a little nervous about options, but we were completely looked after. The variety was impressive (vegan croissants!) and the team were always happy to accommodate any requests without making it a big deal. What really set this resort apart, though, was the people. Every single staff member greeted us with a smile and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Special mentions to Surya at breakfast, Sebastian for yoga, Timmii at front desk, and Tommi and the restaurant manager at Thai. You all made our trip. We hope to be back soon!

We stayed at Centara Lagoon Mirage for 4 nights (19-23 July) in rooms 405 and 406 Ocean Sunrise Villa. This was an excellent experience for our family — the rooms had great views, everywhere was clean, and the staff were nice and helpful. There are three restaurants here. Suan Bua, the Thai restaurant, is our favorite. Their dishes are all delicious, and they let you choose spicy or non-spicy for every dish, which is great for kids. The service at both the Sailhouse and Suan Bua was excellent and impressive. Of all the activities, the most memorable experience was PADI. Our family tried several activities there, including snorkeling with sharks, house reef snorkeling, and a discover scuba/dive lesson for non-divers. All the staff were friendly and helpful, especially Dong Dong, Sam, and Giyas. Dong Dong speaks Chinese and was lovely to talk to. Sam took great care of us and encouraged me to try diving even though I was nervous. Another highlight was the shark snorkeling — Giyas looked after me closely since I was afraid of deep water, making sure I had a great experience seeing so many sharks and fish. We're truly grateful to have had them with us.

Our stay was truly wonderful from start to finish. The ambience is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Every staff member greeted us with a warm smile and genuine politeness, making us feel welcomed throughout our stay. A special mention to the restaurant team, who went above and beyond to ensure every guest was comfortable and satisfied. Their attentiveness and exceptional hospitality exceeded all our expectations. The kids' activity centre was fantastic and kept the little ones happily engaged. The spa therapists were incredibly humble, professional, and made the experience even more relaxing. The thoughtful birthday arrangements made our celebration extra special, and the heartfelt farewell with a beautiful drawing was such a touching gesture that we will always cherish. Overall, this was a perfect staycation filled with warmth, care, and unforgettable memories. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special. We can't wait to come back again!

Very nice and clean resort. I like the design of the resort and the room. Kids loved the lazy pool and the access to beaches. All of us enjoyed the breakfast buffet - warmly greeted by Suria and team and the spread is very good - Thai, asian, western, and local Maldivian cuisine which was delicious. The bridge at night time was very nice too.
