I spent last wkend here. The room was clean and spacious. Food for both breakfast and dinner was top notch. I really enjoyed relaxing by the roof top pool. I had a massage in the spa on sat. So relaxing and worth the cost. All staff were friendly and helpful.

Booked here after a bad experience in a nearby hotel - staff on reception were wonderful. Gave us a discount, allowed immediate check-in (at 10 am). Had a Junior Suite, comfy bed and memory foam pillows. Big balcony with loungers and chairs. Short walk to the beach. 2 adults only rooftop pools.

Two gay American men here! Living in London, we have a lot of exposure to Brits, and Brits abroad was not something we needed to do, so we took advantage of the East Coast of Mallorca being predominantly German, and decided to stay at Canyamel Park for 8 nights in mid-June. When we arrived, Miriam offered to let us see the accommodation we booked, which was the suites in the property a five minute walk from the main hotel, and the just opened Canyamel Sun, which had recently completed renovations, and is a little up the hill, but contains its own restaurant and pool; the other suite style does not have a restaurant, but has a very nice pool on the roof. Because it was self-contained and brand new, we decided to stay at Canyamel Sun for the duration, which was a great choice. Patrons All different aged people, mainly German, but we heard Spanish and British English; straight and gay couples, groups of women on holiday, parents with their adult children; really everything. Parking Not a big deal. No, you probably won't find a spot in front of the hotels, but there is parking, it's free, and it's a quiet community, so your vehicles are safe. Facilities The renovation is really nice. I think they were still missing a lot of artwork and soft touch items (rugs, mainly), but it was modern, warm and comfortable. Beds are medium hard--not soft, but not like sleeping on the ground, which we've encountered before. Each room features a balcony, either looking at trees, or a tennis club. We were looking at the tennis club, and I think there was one game of tennis in our line of sight the entire time. The pool is very nice, and connected to the bar area. It has many lounge chairs, plush chaises that never got direct sun, so nice to relax in, and the pool was chlorine free and about 6 feet deep. There is a side pool that has two built in loungers that look like they should emit bubbles, but we couldn't get it to work. Staff The main staff we encountered were Jose at the front desk, Leticia, Isabel, Nia, Said, and Adil. They made our stay incredibly special, and are the reason we could come back here every summer. Such warm, natural interactions, lovely service, and always up for a conversation. Spanish is their first language, they all spoke German, which we loved, and it made for such a nice, relaxing place. Food This was such a surprise! We booked half-board, which is an incredible value, and the breakfast and dinner were absolutely wonderful. The food was excellent, had a lot of variety from day to day, and the restaurant area was very spacious and offered indoor and outdoor seating. You had the option of eating any meal at the main hotel, but we always ate at the Sun. We would go on excursions during the day and have lunch, so it was a really nice mix for us. Drinks Drinks were really tasty, and 2 cocktails were never more than EU18 or so. We'll come back for sure!

Fantastic hotel, rooms are very modern, very well appointed, large shower area. Bed was a little firm for my liking but that was the only slight negative. The air conditioning worked well in the room. Food was a buffet style and generally speaking I would say that the cuisine was very European. There was lots of choice and they had a grilling / BBQ area where they did steaks and fish. At breakfast you could get fresh eggs, omelettes, scrambled egg etc. there was lots of cereals, cold meats, fruit etc. The hotel was immaculate, very peaceful and within 3 minutes of the beach. The pool was very nice, it did get busy though with lots of sunbeds "reserved" with towels. There are a few shops and mini-markets nearby that sold most items that you might want such as snacks, cold drinks, beer, wine, spirits etc. A pharmacy is also in the same area as the shops. Overall a really nice hotel, good food, nice pool and great if you want to just chill out.

The hotel was nice and quiet but there is so much room for development. Our room was nice and big enough, cause we took the Privilege room for our honeymoon. We had an access to 2 rooftop pools which was a nice perk. Spa was okay but not functional (the jacuzzis are not working properly) However: The staff barely speaks English. The cleaning was poor, even right after the cleaning, the room wasn’t smelling clean. The replaced towels were smelling awful one day, they really need to enhance their cleaning methods.. The food was really disappointing for us. Some dishes like scrambled eggs, fish, chocolate mousse etc. were tasting like chlorine. No spanish cuisine, no regional dishes, the drinks aren’t included, you have to pay even for a water. The plates and glasses in the dining area were not clean either. The plates were smelly, the glasses were stained. Our room had bubble bath but there was no privacy since it was possible to see through the fences when the neighbors are on their balcony. Finally, they didn’t have any deck chairs on the beach, could’ve been nice for a 4 superior hotel…
