Had an amazing stay at Barceló Oman! Perfect place for families with kids to relax and enjoy a peaceful break. The food was an unexpected highlight — such a huge variety of delicious dishes every day, and each meal was a surprise in the best way. Special thanks to Mr. Rajesh - Chef and his wonderful team for the excellent food and hospitality. The sea view room was absolutely stunning and made the whole experience even more special. A big thanks to the reception team for the room upgrade and for making our Eid stay truly memorable with such warm hospitality. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay, but one person truly stood out and deserves special recognition – Sumith, the lifeguard. From the moment we arrived, Sumith went above and beyond to make every guest feel welcome and looked after. His attention to detail, positive attitude and genuine care for people made a real difference to our holiday. Whether it was ensuring the pool area was immaculate, helping guests get settled comfortably, or simply greeting everyone with a smile, nothing ever seemed too much trouble. Most importantly, he maintained a safe and professional environment around the pool at all times, while still creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for guests of all ages. His work ethic, friendliness and dedication are exceptional, and he is a real credit to the hotel. The hotel itself is lovely, with great food and excellent facilities, but Sumith was the shining star of our stay. Thank you for making our holiday that little bit more special. We hope the hotel recognises what a valuable member of the team they have.

We just spent a wonderful weekend staycation at Barceló Mussanah with our family friends—five families in total, all with our kids—and we had an amazing time! Both the parents and the children thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere was warm, relaxing, and truly family-friendly. After swimming, the kids happily played together on the balcony, and they completely forgot about their iPads, a rare and wonderful sight! A special thank you to Haider at the front desk for his exceptional hospitality. He kindly accommodated our late check-out request and promptly assisted us with our other requests, including an extra bed and additional towels. His excellent service and warm smile made our stay even more comfortable. And oh yeah, the location is perfect for an out of town escapade, not so near but not so far from Muscat. Supahhh! Overall, we had a memorable and enjoyable weekend, and we look forward to coming back again!

I rate this hotel for 3 strong stars (4 stars in hotel rating is overstatement in my eyes). Rooms were clean, furniture and all additions in shape nothing broken, worn or so. Room service every day. Hotel located in totally remote area, around 45min walk to the nearest village (if anybody walks that distance in Oman - rather driving). Whole resort area is clean, we'll managed, nice beach with umbrellas, beds to comfortably enjoy the sun in front of the sea. Beach not crowded with hotel customers only. Swimming pools with guards, small aquapark for children, beach bar, tennis court and probably more that I didn't noticed. Hotel staff very friendly, taking care of the customers. Rent a car and small grocery available in the object. I was there for 7 days vacation with my wife and we spend very good time there.

Barceló Mussanah Resort is a fantastic place for both relaxation and activities. The hotel offers all the facilities you could need, and it’s easy to arrange trips and excursions directly from the hotel’s coastline, which adds a special touch to the stay. Everything was clean, the atmosphere was welcoming, and there were excellent options for children, making it very family-friendly. Guests can enjoy both the beach and multiple swimming pools, so there’s always somewhere to unwind. You definitely won’t go hungry here. The food was of very high quality, with large buffet selections offering something for everyone. Overall, a great experience and a resort I would happily recommend.
