Our stay at Barceló Mussanah Resort is absolutely perfect. If you’re looking for the ideal place to stay near Muscat while enjoying everything the Gulf of Oman has to offer, I couldn’t recommend this hotel more. One of its biggest advantages is the marina, which gives you direct access to so many water activities and unforgettable excursions. A special thank you to Abdullah Heidar and Ahmed Nofli, who took us on an incredible trip to the Daymaniyat Islands. It was truly one of the highlights of our stay. They are exceptionally professional, friendly, reassuring, and incredibly flexible. They did everything they could to make sure we had the best possible experience, including giving us the opportunity to swim with sea turtles in a respectful and safe way. Throughout the excursion, we always felt completely safe thanks to their professionalism and attention to every detail. They also prepared a delicious snack on board, which made the experience even more enjoyable. They patiently answered all of our many questions with genuine enthusiasm and shared their knowledge of the islands and marine life. Their kindness and passion made this excursion unforgettable. More generally, I don’t know if this reflects Omani culture as a whole, but throughout our stay we were impressed by the kindness of the Omani people, their patience, their generosity with their time, and their genuine sense of hospitality and customer care. It made us feel truly welcome. Thank you for creating such wonderful memories. We will definitely be back, and I highly recommend both this hotel and the Daymaniyat Islands excursion to anyone visiting Oman!

We had a great weekend stay at Barceló Mussanah Resort with the kids. The resort is very family-friendly, with enjoyable pools, activities, and a relaxing atmosphere. I especially enjoyed the steam room and jacuzzi, which made the stay even more refreshing. One recommendation that would make the experience even better is having a private ladies-only swimming pool, whether indoor or outdoor. That addition would truly make this resort the perfect weekend escape for women and families looking for both comfort and privacy. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would definitely love to visit again

We just spent a wonderful weekend staycation at Barceló Mussanah with our family friends—five families in total, all with our kids—and we had an amazing time! Both the parents and the children thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere was warm, relaxing, and truly family-friendly. After swimming, the kids happily played together on the balcony, and they completely forgot about their iPads, a rare and wonderful sight! A special thank you to Haider at the front desk for his exceptional hospitality. He kindly accommodated our late check-out request and promptly assisted us with our other requests, including an extra bed and additional towels. His excellent service and warm smile made our stay even more comfortable. And oh yeah, the location is perfect for an out of town escapade, not so near but not so far from Muscat. Supahhh! Overall, we had a memorable and enjoyable weekend, and we look forward to coming back again!

Saw great offers online and hence planned to stay for 1 day with family having dinner and breakfast on board (half board). I believe location is cool beside the beach but since its Summers here at this time (May) of the year, temperature & humidity plays their part. Lot of swimming pool options with a Water park that adds to the fun. There is a big garden as well. Big space to stroll around in the evening. Grocery store is available for quick purchases. All in all, a great place to stay, eat, swim, play etc etc. If budget is a constraint, visit now else I recon the best time is to visit this resort in winters ;-)
