I really enjoyed my stay at this resort! We booked via their website which allowed us to get a lower rate and some extra benefits as members of Dusit Gold. The resort is easily accessible and quite large. We received a warm welcome with hot karkade at the reception while porter service collected and dropped all our bags to the room. We were also given a lift to the room via golf cart. We reached around 4pm so we were able to see the sunset while walking around the resort after unpacking. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Reception was always quick to respond to requests and room service was warm and friendly. We had the dinner and breakfast buffet at Verandah restaurant. Breakfast was quite lovely with a wide range. The servers and waiters were also very warm. Special thanks to Ms Mercy for her hospitality. At night we took a cold walk around the hotel, since we visited in January, and experienced lovely live music at Skyview Restaurant. The restaurant had indoor and outdoor seating and we were allowed to enjoy the lovely arabic live music without having to order anything. After returning to our room, we were able to connect our phones to the tv easily to watch a movie before bed. We were given an east facing room so I was lucky to see the sunrise right from my bed. The bathroom is also well stocked with a nice rain shower and the towels were crisp and clean. The resort has a lot of activities that you can participate in. Make sure to take prior booking via a call to the reception to not miss out on them. The adventure park came with complimentary access with our booking and is interesting with a 3 circuits of differentiated ability levels. We were only able to use the zipline before checking out because the park was closing for break from 1-2pm. The resort is very kid friendly and has activities for the entire family. We didn't have any problems with noise even though there were a lot of families with young children. Check out was seamless with porter service helping us load everything in the car. Special thanks to Mr Waleed at reception for making our departure smooth and hassle-free. Mr Rivera was also very friendly and explained all the benefits of the membership before we left for Muscat. We were able to experience a much needed break at this quiet and beautiful resort. If you plan to celebrate a special day, remember to inform the team one day prior so that they can arrange the same. I missed out on it this time, but I look forward to returning for more special and memorable occasions.

Very calm and serene hotel. Service is quick and accurate. Food in Veranda restaurant is varied and delicious. Walid and Haroon at the chech in desk are very collaborative, gentle and polite. They reflect the Omani culture, exceptional of its kind. I highly recommend this place.

Let’s start with the big win: Zahran and Saeed at the Naseem Adventure Park. They were absolute stars. With three energetic kids, it can be overwhelming, but these two gentlemen were so patient, kind, and genuinely excited to help them try everything. They made my children feel safe and confident, turning the whole park into a giant, fun playground just for them. It wasn't just a job to them, it was obvious they love what they do. A massive thank you to them! About the Resort & Location The resort itself is a beautiful blend of modern and Omani style, perched right on the Green Mountain at an incredible 2,000 metres. The location is simply superb, with views that take your breath away. Our room was spacious and cozy, with a private balcony that was perfect for morning coffee while the kids were still asleep. The Amazing Staff & Food We have to echo what other reviews say: every single member of the staff is exceptional. Everyone, from the restaurant servers to the front desk, was so gracious and attentive, always ready with a smile ! Every meal was super yummy, from the fresh Omani bread at breakfast to the delicious international dishes at dinner! This isn’t just a vacation; it was a collection of perfect family moments, and a huge part of that was thanks to Zahran and Saeed at the Adventure Park.

Accessible by 4x4 as is the entire Jebel Akhdar region. It is really advisable to be careful on the breaks and break with the engine and gearbox as much as possible on the way down. Automatic works much better in the manual Mode. The hotel itself is really nice with good and warm pool (even in Winter :). Kids will love the adventure park. Do not miss out on a trip to the plateau viewpoints!

So pleased we picked dusitD2 for our Jebel Akhdar stay. It has massively exceeded our expectations. The room is the most luxurious of all the places we have stayed in our holiday to Oman and the pool area is lovely and relaxing. The food and service is particularly notable, fresh ingredients at breakfast and local food (plus local music). A big thank you to Shaho, Shazan, Mae, Arshid, Deep and Jessa for looking after us so well.
