From the moment we arrived at Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara, we knew we were in for something special. The transfer by catamaran set the tone with a sense of escape, and upon arrival the staff greeted us with warmth and professionalism. Every day was a delight: the food was outstanding — beautifully prepared dishes, excellent variety, and every meal felt like a celebration. The service was top-notch: attentive, friendly, and always with a genuine smile. The views were simply breathtaking — turquoise waters, pristine beach, palm-lined shores and sunset skies that felt unreal. Even the adventure park added a great extra dimension — fun, active, and perfectly balanced with those moments of peaceful relaxation. If you’re looking for a holiday that combines luxury, awe-inspiring nature and truly excellent service, this is it. Highly recommend!

Our second time here to celebrate our anniversary, and we will definitely come back. The place is so peaceful and clean. All the staff from starting from Al Shyoukh Port to the Island were all good and approachable. All of them treat their guest special and equal. Everything on the Island is accessible. Place is highly recommended. Salute to the management. Please keep good service to everyone.

unfortunately the overall standards have been far below what any guest would reasonably expect. Food & Beverage Restriction: Guests are prohibited from bringing any food or beverages from outside — including something as simple as Arabic coffee or tea. This policy is not only unreasonable, but it also forces guests to purchase exclusively from your outlets, which is neither fair nor aligned with acceptable hospitality practice. Outdated Furniture: The furniture provided is noticeably old and worn, which is completely unacceptable for a property claiming 5-star standards. The condition of the furnishings does not reflect the quality, comfort, or presentation expected from a hotel of this category. Poor Service Quality (Timing): While the staff have been polite, the service has been extremely slow, with significant delays in response times and the delivery of basic requests. This level of waiting time does not align with 5-star service expectations. Missing Basic Amenities: There is no television in the sitting room, which is a basic facility expected from any property in this category and price range. As well as that television aren’t smart and barley can do anything with them other than channels. Despite these issues, I would like to place on record my appreciation for Arman, our villa coordinator. He has been consistently helpful, responsive, and professional throughout our stay, and his efforts are genuinely appreciated. Given the concerns raised and the fact that we are still in-house, I kindly request that you review the matter urgently and advise on appropriate compensation or corrective action during our remaining stay. I trust that you take guest satisfaction seriously and will act accordingly.

I had a really positive experience at Banana Island. The assistants — James, Yusuf, and Ali — were all fantastic. They were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything I needed. You could tell they genuinely cared about making sure everything went smoothly. James was especially great at checking in to make sure I was comfortable, Yusuf was really knowledgeable and patient when explaining things, and Ali had such a welcoming attitude that made the whole experience even better. Overall, the team created a really pleasant and professional atmosphere — I couldn’t have asked for better service. Highly recommend Banana Island and their amazing staff!

Excellent hotel, I was at Antara on Banana Island for the first time. We came especially to celebrate my birthday, and it was the best choice. The room is perfect, clean, the atmosphere is wonderful. I want to say a huge thank you to the team that works at Adventure Park. The guys are real professionals and know their stuff, and they also congratulated me on my birthday very well. The entire hotel staff is very friendly. The Jabayer from Al Nahham restaurant is really professional and ı want to say thank you!!!!! Shawkat was really helpful and friendly!!!!! I would like to recommend this wonderful hotel to everyone, and we will definitely come back!!!!!
