Hudhuranfushi also has an excellent location for seeing more of traditional Maldivian life. Visit the capital city of Male to see the National Museum, Presidential Palace, Esjeshi Art Gallery and the Grand Friday Mosque.

From arriving to be picked up at Male airport for the fast boat to the island and then return, it was wonderful. We were beautifully looked after by our Butler Thushara G. from check in to leaving. Nothing was too much trouble, and he was always available to transport us to the restaurants, bars or snorkeling. He knew everything that was going on and always had a smile for us, especially when we were tired. Food in the Sunset Restaurant was fabulous and dinners on the deck with the saxophone player, sharks swimming by and the attentive staff, was magical. One highlight was having fish and chips on the beach at The Grill. Plenty to keep you occupied when you no longer want to just relax and lounge around. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED the Sunset Villas overwater.
