You can catch the sunset here every night. The staff is AMAZING. Anything that was a problem or issue they took care of four us. So I thoroughly enjoyed my time. There great breakfast they're now in the Mediterranean stage with dinner can ask for anything to eat. The spa is amazing. The pool is amazing. The activities, the nightly entertainment, just great. I don't know what else to say, except for, I can't wait to go back.

The food here was amazing. The coffee shop was great . Coffee, lattes , the food and deserts were amazing. If you get hungry during the night you can help yourself to ready made sandwiches or dessert. Most of the staff at the resort were very friendly and helpful. It would have been more convenient if there were washers and dryers on site. The beach is very small, and You do have to travel to get to the sites. The Spa was nice with my complimentary coupons, otherwise it’s very pricey. Overall it was a very nice experience. The people of Barbados were very friendly. Let me not forget to mention the housekeeping crew. They did amazing.

We have just arrived back from a nine-night stay at Waves and we had the most amazing time. I’ve sat here reading others’ reviews before writing my own to see where some of the lower star reviews came from. Having been coming to Barbados frequently for the last 30 years and having visited many restaurants and hotels on the island, the speed of service at this hotel is just Bajan! It’s also speedier than many other places I’ve been on the island. The staff are unable to control the tide, or the rock formations on the beach, nor can they control the shrinkage of the beach due to coastal erosion. This is also happening all over the island. The room was a great size (we had a standard room on the spa side of the hotel) and we didn’t find any fault with the furnishings. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was beautifully decorated. We stayed here during the time when the main side of the hotel, the beach side, was closed for refurb, so we only had the spa side and the public access to the beach. However, this didn’t really impact our stay at all and the staff treated us like royalty throughout. We couldn’t have been better looked after. Tip for using both sides of the road with this hotel: the road gets really busy around rush hour, so 4-6pm, so you might want to take that into account. We couldn’t fault the food at all - the menu can get a little repetitive but the quality of the food is great. We were never disappointed. If you’ve stayed in any of the other hotels in the group then you will see some similarities between how the food is prepared, which was nice for us as we’d enjoyed the food at the other properties previously. All in all I’d highly recommend this hotel, especially for how good an experience the staff make it.

From start to finish, my experience at this resort was incredible. The entire staff went above and beyond to make me and my group feel welcomed and celebrated for my birthday. I’ve honestly never seen a full team so in sync, usually there are only one or two rockstars, but here, everyone was on point! Kim, the general manager, leads by example and sets such a positive tone. Stefan, the assistant manager, was an absolute pleasure and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Jensel served our drinks with such joy and great energy. Tamisha always had a smile on her face and made every interaction feel genuine. Tiara greeted us warmly at check-in, and Antwone stood out as one of the hardest-working and most stylish team members always accommodating and professional. Jacqueline your amazing! Ashani's postive energy was my kinda vibe. I know I’m leaving out several others because there were just too many great people to keep track of! Even the night shift lady deserves huge praise. When I reported an issue with the A/C, instead of telling me to wait until morning, she immediately sent someone to check it out and even left a note for the AM engineer to follow up. That kind of service and care is rare these days. To make things even more special, Kim and the staff surprised me with dessert and a bottle of champagne to help bring in my birthday the right way. That thoughtful gesture truly made me feel valued and appreciated. I can’t thank this team enough for making my stay so memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for exceptional service, great vibes, and genuine hospitality. I’ll likely will be coming back!

I had a wonderful experience at The Waves Hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly personable and welcoming, offering top-notch hospitality throughout my stay. The rooms were spotless, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. The food was absolutely magnificent—every meal was a treat. A special thank you to the amazing front desk staff, especially Astrid, for her warmth and professionalism. Big thanks to Kevin at the concierge desk for being so helpful and attentive. I also want to acknowledge the excellent bar and food service staff, as well as the hardworking housekeeping team—your efforts truly made my stay exceptional. I’ll definitely be returning soon.
