Rooms are ok. The tub is a pain to shower in. Its deep and tall. Plus the shower head was an add on. No fan installed on the balcony area for a breeze. Breakfast need to be a bit more efficient with the buffet line. Needs a pan for their French toast and pancakes. Staff is friendly. Their spa massafe with Margaret is absolutely 💯 amazing 👏 🤩 5*s. Location. Is good. Dinner was excellent. Pool service for drinks needs a bit more. Overall. Nice place just some minor tweeks.

Our group of 20 visited Barbados Beach Resort to celebrate my sister's 40th birthday, but unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. Check-in took several hours, upgraded rooms that had been reserved were not honored for some guests, and room assignments were completely disorganized. One room was double-booked, and in another instance, a couple walked into a room that was already occupied. Providing only one room key per room created unnecessary inconvenience for families and larger groups. The resort appeared severely understaffed and completely unprepared to accommodate the number of guests. Many of the advertised restaurants were closed, leaving very limited dining options. Food service was exceptionally slow throughout our stay. On one occasion, a guest waited more than an hour for a hot dog, and even basic menu items were unavailable, including penne pasta during our planned birthday dinner. To make matters worse, there was only one food truck serving the entire resort, and it actually ran out of food. It is unbelievable that a resort of this size would rely on a single food truck to feed its guests, only for it to run out of food altogether. This level of planning is simply unacceptable. The guest rooms were also disappointing. Toiletries appeared to have been partially used, and one room had mold in the shower, raising serious concerns about cleanliness and maintenance. The one bright spot was the staff. Every employee we encountered was friendly, courteous, and worked incredibly hard despite being clearly overwhelmed. Our frustration is with the resort's management and lack of preparation—not with the employees, who did their best under difficult circumstances. We traveled to Barbados to celebrate my sister's 40th birthday, and instead of enjoying the special occasion at the resort, we had to leave the property and celebrate at Tides just to see a smile on her face. We should not have had to leave the resort to create the memorable birthday celebration we had planned. That was incredibly disappointing. What made the experience even more frustrating was management's response. After everything our group endured, the only compensation offered was a credit for the resort fee. Considering the extent of the problems we experienced throughout our stay, this felt wholly inadequate and did not come close to addressing the inconvenience and disappointment caused. Even more concerning, we were presented with a release agreement stating that, in exchange for waiving the resort fee, no one in our group could post a negative review about the resort. We felt this placed unfair pressure on us to give up our right to honestly share our experience in exchange for minimal compensation. We declined because we believe future guests deserve to know what our group experienced. Overall, this resort fell far below expectations and significantly impacted what should have been a joyful family celebration. Between the poor organization, lack of dining options, inadequate food service, cleanliness concerns, and management's handling of the situation, this experience was unacceptable. We sincerely hope management addresses these operational failures so future guests do not have to endure the same disappointing experience.

Just wrapped up a short getaway here and had a really solid experience overall (8/10). The real standout of this resort is the hospitality. Customer service was excellent (9.5/10) and the staff are a flawless 10/10! A huge special shout-out to Kareene (the bartender) and Crystal (the hostess) at the Sunset Bar and Restaurant. They were absolutely magnificent and made our Monday night by the bar incredible. While we missed out on dinner at Enid’s, we thoroughly enjoyed stopping into De Rum Shop to play some pool. As for the rest of the resort, the rooms, activities, and overall cleanliness were a comfortable 7/10, and the food was a bit more average at a 6/10. Because the incredible staff completely elevated the atmosphere, we had a wonderful, relaxing break and would definitely recommend it for the vibes and top-tier service!

My recent visit to The Club Barbados Resort & Spa was a masterclass in balancing professional site inspection with much-needed restorative time. As a travel agent, I am constantly evaluating resorts not just on their amenities, but on the soul of the property, and as a vacationer, I am looking for that elusive feeling of complete detachment from the everyday. I am happy to report that this property delivers on both fronts, providing a seamless blend of efficiency and true relaxation. The absolute highlight of my stay was my time at the spa. I indulged in their signature Papaya scrub, and it was nothing short of transformative. My therapist was amazing, demonstrating a level of intuition and technical skill that is rare to find. In fact, there was a moment during the treatment when the power at the resort went down, and I did not even notice it. The atmosphere created by the therapist and the tranquil environment was so immersive that the outside world simply ceased to exist. That level of deep relaxation is the ultimate indicator of a world-class spa experience. The service standard set by the front desk team was also superb. They handled every inquiry with professionalism and grace, making the logistics of the stay feel effortless. However, what truly makes this place beautiful is the people. It is the combination of the hardworking, genuine staff and the wonderful fellow travelers that gives this resort its heart. There is a palpable warmth here that makes you feel instantly at ease. My mum and I had a fantastic stay, and having her join me allowed me to experience the property not just as a professional assessing service levels, but as a guest enjoying the kind of environment I always strive to curate for my own clients.

Stayed for a week with my partner. Overall, the experience was great. The room was clean with a nice balcony, the food was really good and they did a good job of changing the menu for variety, and the pools were great. The resort itself doesn’t really have a traditional beach but immediately to its left there are stairs to a beach area that we were able to utilize with no issue and you can also enter the ocean through the resort property itself so I really didn’t think that was a big deal. My one gripe was with staff. We were given inconsistent instructions (ex. One front desk member told us that we did not need to reserve any taxis in advance and when we went down a few hours later, the staff member on duty said that we should’ve absolutely reserved something in advance and seemed very irritated to order one for us) that made parts of our stay a little difficult. There was also an employee in the restaurant that scolded me and almost made me cry because I asked for an item to be removed from a dinner option (not substituted, just removed) when I was able to remove an item from my dinner three days before with no issue. Outside of those two experiences though I did find the staff to be very kind. We did dinner under the moonlight and found that to be well worth it, we would recommend. I did wish that the rule about not reserving chairs before 8 was actually enforced. Overall though we had a lovely time and were sad to say goodbye.
