Our stay at The Standard Maldives was absolutely unforgettable. This is truly a slice of paradise. The crystal-clear turquoise water, the soft white sand beach, and the breathtaking sunsets create a picture-perfect setting that feels almost unreal. The service was exceptional from the very first moment. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely caring, always making sure every detail of our stay was perfect. Their hospitality made us feel truly welcomed and valued. The food was outstanding — fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Every meal was a delightful experience, with a great variety of options and high-quality ingredients.Thank you chief Prasana! The Standard Maldives combines natural beauty, comfort, and impeccable service in the most harmonious way. We left with wonderful memories and cannot wait to return. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic 3-night stay (16th–19th April 2026) at The Standard, Maldives. The overwater villa, food, location, and buggy service were all excellent. The villa was very clean, and the location made for an amazing snorkelling experience. Youssef made our check-in smooth and convenient, and it was very easy to communicate with room service and reception using their in-house app. Kula restaurant offered a variety of international cuisines, with friendly and attentive staff. A special thanks to Chef Prasanna for going above and beyond to accommodate our dietary requirements as some of us were vegetarian. Also a big thank you to Hasan who waited on us on most days, always with a smile on his face and always very attentive. The only downside was the delayed seaplane transfer on departure, which left us with limited time to catch our international flight. We recommend allowing extra buffer time. Overall, a wonderful and memorable stay!

We had the opportunity to celebrate NYE there and it was wonderful experience. The island and rooms were picturesque. We had an over water villa and it was spacious enough for our family of 5. It was me and my husband with our 3 small children and we all enjoyed the beach, the pools, the aquatic life and fishes, the food, and the NYE party and fireworks 🎆. All of the workers were very kind and welcoming. Our daughter has severe gluten allergy and also does not eat meat. They had a variety of options for her to choose from that she actually enjoyed. She especially loved the gluten free pizza. Don’t sleep on The Standard if you are looking; look no further. It was a wonderful experience from the arrival at the airport, the seaplane ride, the boat ride to the resort, and the welcome greeting from staff. It was all really nice and worth every penny!

It wasn't bad, even though the weather wasn't perfect. Thanks to Eva, who completely devastated all our impressions. We weren't the only guests kicked out of our rooms early, but we were the only ones who stood our ground and ended up in the lounge—while everyone else who didn't fight back was left with nothing. That says it all. Choosing this hotel, be ready that they will try to kick you out at 11 AM, even if your flight from Male is at 8:40 PM, and invent a fake weather forecast to justify it. Even if you pay well enough, you have to fight for each and every step, even for a Wi-Fi router. A welcome towel and ice cream are nice, but true hospitality is more than a show. It's definitely a five-star service.

Honestly one of the best trips we’ve ever taken. The Standard Huruvalhi knows how to do it right. The island is gorgeous, the service is incredible, and they really think of everything. Little touches like water stations everywhere around the island made it feel so well thought out. The food is what really caught us off guard though. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from across the resort and we enjoyed all of them, but our favorite was Onda where Chef Rajesh runs the kitchen. He went above and beyond our entire stay. Every meal was on another level, beautifully plated, creative, and genuinely delicious. He took the time to curate dishes for us and you could tell he and his team really care about what they put out. The resort also set up a private honeymoon dinner on the beach for us which was such a beautiful touch and made the trip feel even more special. The snorkeling was unreal too. We didn’t even have to go far. Right off the jetty there were thousands of beautiful tropical fish. You could literally see fish everywhere around the island which made it feel like you were living in a nature documentary. Quick shoutout to Nelson and Neha behind the bar too. Great cocktails and even better company. They made every evening that much more enjoyable. Would absolutely come back.
