⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great Stay After a Rough Start – Thanks to Saya & Gayan! We recently stayed at Cinnamon Velifushi Maldives and our experience had two very different parts. The first couple of days were disappointing, and we felt our concerns weren’t being handled properly. However, things completely changed once we started dealing with Saya at the reception. She genuinely cared about our comfort, listened to every detail, and made sure our stay improved. Her professionalism and kindness made a big difference. A big shoutout as well to Gayan at Fen Bar. He was outstanding from the moment we met him – friendly, attentive, and always making sure we were looked after. His service and attitude were the highlight of our stay. Tips for future travelers: • If you have any issues, speak directly with Saya – she handles things quickly and with care. • Don’t miss spending time at Fen Bar – ask for Gayan, he makes the best drinks and gives great service. • The views and water villas are beautiful, but communication is key if anything needs fixing. Overall, our holiday ended much better than it started thanks to these two amazing staff members.

I’m very happy that we chose to stay here. This vacation was truly special and unlike anything else. The place itself and its architecture are very authentic and perfectly match the atmosphere of the Maldives. Everything feels harmonious and thoughtfully designed. I would especially like to mention Saya at the reception — she was incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help us with any questions or requests. The restaurant chef Kelum and manager Earnest were simply outstanding. When we explained that our son has prediabetes, he took great care to prepare healthy, delicious meals for him instead of snacks, which meant a lot to us. What I appreciated most was the kindness of the people. Their warmth and care made this holiday feel truly gentle and welcoming, regardless of anything else that was happening around us. This place creates a feeling of comfort, safety, and genuine care. Thank you for making our stay so special.

I am loving my experience at Cinnamon Velifushi. It’s a mid-range island hotel that offers the usual: overwater bungalows, beautiful grounds with which to walk, spa, bar, and other amenities. However the element that sets Velifushi apart from the other Maldivian islands I’ve visited is the exceptional staff and their hospitality. Our check in experience with Saya was excellent: she was kind, personable, and offered us plenty of suggestions tailored to our interests. At the dining areas, and without fail, my dietary requirements were taken into consideration with each meal, the staff made (Chef Sithuni) and served (Mr Shameem) my favorite delights and often without me having to ask. Each time I arrived at a restaurant, my sparkling water with four limes, my precise coffee order or my favorite glass of wine was waiting for me. Shameem is personable and kind, ready with a joke or light banter. He makes the experience that much better with his warmth and professionalism. And Chef Sithuni makes a killer egg hopper! The staff are friendly and welcome conversation, and my partner and I truly enjoyed every interaction. And Dona! She is the on-site trainer and she is a little powerhouse: putting us through workouts specifically tailored to what we wanted…and even convincing us to do a few moves that we didn’t want 😅 (but needed!). She is kind, open, and speaks to every movement to ensure you are getting the full benefit of both the workout and the knowledge gained. Also: shout out to Gayan at Fen Bar for his daiquiris and fun-loving, humorous and warm personality. Loving our time here and each moment with the staff and on the island :)

Our stay at Cinnamon Velifushi was absolutely amazing. The transport was perfectly organized from start to finish — just a small tip: you should be comfortable with boat rides, as the transfer can be a bit adventurous 😉 The hotel itself is stunning and extremely clean. The food and drinks were excellent, with great variety and quality. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always smiling. One of the highlights was the marine life: sharks, colorful fish, and rays can be seen right at the doorstep and swimming between the water villas. A truly unforgettable experience — we would definitely come back!

We truly had the time of our lives. Everything was beautiful, luxurious, clean, and incredibly relaxing. The water was crystal clear, that perfect baby blue. The hospitality was top notch and the management was clearly strong. Earnest went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic time and was honestly one of the highlights of our entire experience. The food was amazing - from the morning brunch experience to the seafood restaurant overlooking the water.
