Feedback following our six-night stay in early January. While the airport pickup service was excellent and the property itself is lovely and well-maintained, several aspects of our experience did not meet the expectations of a five-star resort. First, the child policy regarding Expedia bookings is very confusing. Despite the hotel having our child's age in advance ( 11), we were informed only upon arrival that we had to pay an additional $250 ( price varies ) for a rollaway bed. Better communication between the hotel and third-party booking sites is necessary to avoid such surprises. No upgrade as they were "Full". Regarding the facilities, we found the charges for amenities like tennis, bikes, and even the cinema ( for Adults for old movies you can watch in Netflix) to be excessive, for kids is free. Furthermore, the Kids Club is disappointing for a luxury resort; the space is minimal and geared toward infants, requiring parental supervision. There are almost no activities for children aged 8–14, which made the resort feel unsuitable for families with older children. Some 1 hour activities a day ( kite, stone painting)but that is really IT. The pool area also requires better management. Many sunloungers were "reserved" with towels for hours while remaining unoccupied. Additionally, seeing a guest ( Mum & Baby) removed from the lawn for sunbathing & playing was quite off-putting. I suggest implementing a policy to clear unattended loungers after a certain period to ensure all guests have access. or Add more in green spaces. On a positive note, the staff was wonderful—specifically Nguyen at breakfast and the Beach Club. The food was enjoyable, and the rooms were generous in size. However, given the lack of indoor activities during poor weather and the issues mentioned above, the stay did not feel like a true five-star experience. I hope you find this feedback constructive for future improvements.

We had a wonderful stay at The Anam. The service was impeccable, and both the staff and management team were extremely helpful throughout our stay. I would especially like to thank the manager, Madam Ly Ly, who was quick to respond and handled a small room issue very professionally and efficiently. The room, the surroundings, and the overall environment were excellent, and the food was also very enjoyable. Everything was well maintained and thoughtfully done. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay, and I would be happy to return again.

the best resort ever 😍 all the agents are so kind and always smile to the guests. room condition was also good and the pools in the resort and in the hill villa were very spacious and beautiful. the breakfast was also good - menus change everyday. especially the fruits and desserts were the best. basically all the service was absolutly perfact. thanks for the best service. our family made a big piece of happy memory in this beautiful resort! I will definately visit here again.

Following the great reviews, we chose to stay here to spend a few days in the Nah Trang area. The hotel was removed from everything, with only one complementary shuttle per day leaving at 9:30am and the closest restaurants are 10 min drive away. The staff was not helpful and we only found out on our third day that some restaurants in the area offer a free pick up and drop off - no one at the hotel has told us that despite asking about places to eat in the area. The room service food at the hotel was average and prices were an absolute rip off. I just can’t see the value for money. Would recommend friends to stay in Nah Trang and not in Cam Ranh

The Anam is a truly tranquil resort and an ideal place to slow down, recharge, and fully relax. We visited during the low season mid December, and the resort was about half empty, which made the experience even more special incredibly quiet, peaceful, and unhurried. It felt like having a luxury sanctuary almost to ourselves. The rooms are very spacious and even had french style couch and coffee table. The resort itself is beautiful and distinctive. As the first five-star colonial beach resort in Cam Ranh, The Anam blends contemporary luxury with old-world charm. The architecture, with its traditional Vietnamese style roofs and nostalgic details, is elegant and timeless. Lush emerald lawns, sparkling pools, and warm Vietnamese hospitality create a calm, refined atmosphere throughout the property. The beachfront setting is stunning, backed by jungle-covered mountains, although during our stay the waves were quite strong, so swimming in the ocean wasn’t possible. Fortunately, the resort more than makes up for it with three excellent freshwater pools each offering a different vibe, from a central lap pool with sea views to more secluded, relaxing options. One of the pools the square one is adults only, the other two pools are children friendly. Dining was another highlight. There’s a great variety of food, from authentic Vietnamese home-style cooking to international gourmet dishes and high-quality grilled meats and seafood. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared and aligned with the resort’s overall focus on quality and experience. The resort has 5 distinct restaurants: Indochine, Lang Viet, Beach Club, The Colonial and Saigon Bar. Another option: in-room dining and private dining experiences. There was also cocktail happy hour BOGO deal at Beach Club from 3 pm to 5 pm and in Saigon bar from 9 pm to 11 pm, both had different selection of unique Vietnam inspired and classic cocktails. We had delicious pineapple pina colada and jasmine infused gin cocktail. The Anam Spa is a standout a serene space where ancient Asian healing traditions are woven into holistic wellness treatments that truly help reset both body and mind. Beyond relaxation, the resort offers an impressive range of activities: a fully equipped fitness center, tennis courts, mini golf (the first of its kind in Southeast Asia), a 3D movie theater, outdoor cinema nights, and even hands-on cultural experiences like coconut leaf crafting. We attended very cool two events: coconut harvesting and coconut water drinking event, and made coconut leaf birds. Families are also very well catered for, with a dedicated kids’ club, farm experience with organic gardens, and plenty of open space for children to enjoy safely. The resort roads are cobblestone so ok to walk but not really a stroller or wheelchair friendly. If you have stroller can always ask the resort golf cart to take you around. Overall, The Anam is not just a resort, but a carefully curated experience that balances luxury, culture, wellness, and nature. If you’re looking for a quiet, elegant escape where everything is designed to help you unwind, this is a wonderful choice. We will come back again for sure.
