We were greeted by Niki on day one. Very nice lady who changed a room for us due to a faulty hot tub. Mornings we were met with amazing bar service and jokes with Andreah, the breakfast and lunch staff were very nice and accommodating. I require gluten free food due to coeliac disease and this was no challenge for Sanchia who already knew what I could have without being asked, she’s an absolute credit to this hotel. The rooms very very nice, with jacuzzis. The hotel was very clean with good music playing all the time. The pool was smaller than expected but was still very nice. The best part of the hotel was its staff. All very friendly and accommodating, and also a lot of fun. Shout out to Christina (waitress), Rico and Tyrel (bar staff) for amazing service. Location was great near enterprise beach, short walk to Oistins (for fish fry). Short car ride to Bridgetown.

Our week at Abidah left us full of praise and commendation. We chose Abidah for its size, features and location. We came to the resort with reasonable expectations. To our surprise and delight; Abidah exceeded every expectation and over-delivered on every aspect of our stay. Rooms are generous, clean, and well-equipped. Beach is quieter and somewhat private compared to larger resorts, yet beautiful, sandy, with crystal clear water. Pool is clean, convenient, and well-equipped. To us; Abidah excels in client service. Our experience with the front desk and food service was exemplary. With only 40 rooms, dining was never crowded. Food was plentiful, interesting, and very tasty every day. There were themed nights as well. The dining room staff excelled in creating that “at home” feeling. We fully expected to eat out at restaurants but never did because of the quality and camaraderie. Joy, a senior member of the staff, gave us great advice on where to go on the island and most importantly, how to get there. Joy brought joy to our day, every day. Bus and cab service was readily available nearby or directly from the resort. Front desk was great at arranging day trips. Barbados is; by any description; a warm and welcoming nation that embraces tourists with open arms. Our visit to the island was exceptional thanks to Abidah, its great staff, and winning attitude to guests. We will definitely return.

2nd stay at Abidah and my husband and I both love it. Great location. Favourite beach nearby and courteous, friendly staff. The food is quite tasty and the overall atmosphere is quiet and restful. The rooms are modern and immaculately clean. The one major drawback for us on both our stays (4 years apart) is the elevator being down for almost the entire stay and having to walk 4 flights of stairs coming and going. I often wondered if there were elderly guests who couldn’t have managed, what then? And we were never given any complimentary service as compensation for this tiresome inconvenience. That was quite disappointing and a subtraction from the overall service for us. Would we stay again? Probably but would definitely give up the great upper floor view in lieu of a lower floor just in case the elevator goes out again.

Wow! What a hidden gem! Been to Barbados two times before at different properties. This place far exceeds any other hotel. The food, people who work here, and the views amazing. Everyone treats you like family and is so warm and welcoming. Short two minute walk to be on the beach. Special shout out to JaLisa Dre and Tyrell. Drinks are strong and get you where you want to be! Having my own jacuzzi was a special treat as well. Pool area is small, but I had no problem laying out for 6 days. I’m actually sad to leave this wonderful place. The room is huge. There are no gift shops around, and the spa was closed all week. Oistens is nearby though. Wish they had the a la cart menu like their website says, but it was buffet every meal. I found my new hotel to stay in when I visit Barbados again. If you haven’t been November is perfect weather wise! Can’t reccomend this place enough.

Beautiful hotel by the water with a pool on-site. Some rooms offer stunning ocean views. The rooms themselves are clean, spacious, and equipped with strong air conditioning. Blackout curtains are a great bonus for restful sleep. I especially enjoyed the private jacuzzi on the balcony. Dinner dishes were delicious, though I would suggest expanding the variety of food options throughout the day. I visited in early May 2025, and the hotel felt quiet with few other guests. The beach was clean, and the sunsets were absolutely breathtaking. The island has plenty of activities to offer — from surfing and e-biking to exploring the local culture. The locals were warm and welcoming. Yes, I would definitely recommend this place.
