My short staycation here was a wonderful experience. As it was during the holiday season, the crowds were understandably overwhelming at times. However, the staff handled the situation exceptionally well, and their efforts to ensure a smooth and pleasant stay deserve special praise. The room was immaculate, comfortable, and well worth the price. The food was absolutely outstanding, every meal was a delight. Overall, this is a fantastic place to unwind, relax, and escape the hectic pace of city life. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would gladly return in the future.

We had a great family vacation at Shangri La Rasa Ria. We booked it at the last minute and got large ocean view rooms which were a bomb on the pocket but a great experience nevertheless. The goods: 1. Great family friendly place with plenty of activities including free and paid. I especially enjoyed the fire show and golf putting with my son. 2. Good breakfast spread - there was some decent Indian spread too (dosa/idli for breakfast would be a stupendous addition). 3. Great service - everyone from reception desk to restaurant to pool to activities were super helpful and welcoming. Special thanks to Azri/Adrian from egg counter (probably the busiest job during such a peak holiday period) and Michael from the coffee terrace restaurant for special care shown for our dietary needs. 4. Big and beautiful property - plenty to walk but largely fun. 5. Good gym for a hotel - decent machines and weights collection. What doesn’t work so well: 1. Distance from city: every decision to travel to city for food or tourism is technically 2 hr return travel decision - we compromised a couple of meals to avoid the travel. 2. Price point: Everything was heavily priced for the star rating and distance from the city. 3. Limited vegetarian eating options - the staff really try to help but it is inherently limited. Overall a great stay and would recommend this if spending time in the resort for vacation is your thing.

Amazing resort with the most amazing hospitality. The rooms were great, the pool temps were amazing. A great heads up would be that there a lot of mosquitos (which is obviously beyond the control of the hotel and you are staying in a forest), outside of that we had a great time and will be back

We stayed for 3 nights, very comfortable rooms. Lovely location and very family friendly with a ton of activities and play areas. The pool slide was a lot of fun. We also played golf and they have a beautiful driving range. We also did the sunset and fireflies cruise and Izaal our guide was really sweet and had a lovely personality. Clifford in Eighth restaurant was also really sweet, we were very tired but his sweet personality really changed our mood and we had a great dinner. He made an amazing local chilli sauce concoction which i will always remember. Overall we had a great stay but i would definitely suggest that a few more dining options be added specially during dinner time. Since the resort is located remotely, there arent any other dining options around and on one of our nights we only had a buffet or one a la carte restaurant available so tends to be crowded.

My stay at Shangri-La Rasa Ria on 11 May 2026 was truly memorable. The resort offers a perfect combination of luxury, nature, and relaxation. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, professional, and very welcoming, making the whole experience feel special. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable with a beautiful view that made the stay even more enjoyable. I especially loved the peaceful atmosphere, private beach, and the lush greenery surrounding the resort. The facilities were excellent, including the swimming pool, restaurants, and recreational activities. Breakfast had a great variety of food with both local and international selections, and the quality was excellent. The service throughout the resort was consistently attentive and friendly.
