The Royal Zanzibar Beach Resort is an all-inclusive resort. The programme generally consists of breakfast, lunch and dinner, all buffet style, served in the main restaurant. During meals soft drinks, beer, water and wine are usually offered. Locally produced alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks like water, wine, soft drinks, beer and spirits are usually served throughout the day (except during meal times).

Hotel is beautiful and kept in immaculate condition. Location is great, you have access to alot of things on the beachfront and can easily access the rest of the island on trip and taxis. All the staff are amazing. You're made to feel so welcomed

We had an amazing stay at this resort. When we reported an issue with our room, the staff responded promptly, kindly moved us to another room, and even upgraded us. We truly appreciated how professionally and thoughtfully they handled the situation. What impressed us the most was the exceptional hospitality. Every member of the staff treated us with genuine warmth and kindness, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The service was outstanding and exceeded our expectations. We would especially like to thank Mr. Salim for always taking such wonderful care of us, Ms. Ivone for the beautiful honeymoon room decoration, and Executive Chef Mr. Hans for preparing the best meals we enjoyed during our stay. We are also sincerely grateful to every staff member who welcomed us with such genuine hospitality and made our honeymoon so memorable. If we ever return to Zanzibar, we will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

We had an incredible stay at Royal Zanzibar Beach Resort. The food was absolutely delicious with a great variety at every meal, and the drinks were always fresh and expertly prepared. The staff truly made our vacation special—they were warm, friendly, attentive, and always greeted us with a smile. Their exceptional hospitality made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The resort is beautiful, well-maintained, and the beachfront location is stunning. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Royal Zanzibar Beach Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable vacation. We can’t wait to return!

Lovely hotel, the most friendly staff you can wish for, amazingly and beautiful fresh food, nice private beach and an incredible Spa. I definitely recommend it. Even if the hotel is fully booked, there are so many sun beds and spread-out pools, you find an almost private place for yourself.

Stayed in for 7 nights. Held a great time, the staff were amazingly especially Robert and Didas for keeping us busy with activities and fun. Saleh and Emmanuel were top class at the Baraza Bar serving amazing drinks and always a great chat with them. The lady’s in the Mapenzi Bar in the evening, never had to ask for a drink, they knew exactly what we wanted. Big selection of food in the buffet with amazing fresh fruit each day. The executive sous chef was very helpful and got us trying different fruits we never had before. The whole team around the hotel were always friendly and helpful, along with the Masai! Cliff restaurant food was also good, we love going there for lunch. Loved the entertainment at night especially the fire show!!
