The Royal Zanzibar Beach Resort is an all-inclusive resort. The programme generally consists of breakfast, lunch and dinner, all buffet style, served in the main restaurant. During meals soft drinks, beer, water and wine are usually offered. Locally produced alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks like water, wine, soft drinks, beer and spirits are usually served throughout the day (except during meal times).

We had an incredible few days at Royal Zanzibar Beach Resort and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The beachfront suites are amazing, offering the most breathtaking ocean views to wake up to every morning. The pools are a real highlight too – there are so many to choose from that you’re truly spoilt for choice, and each one is beautifully maintained. The gardens and the entire resort are immaculate, with every area kept to an exceptionally high standard. The food exceeded all our expectations. Every meal, whether in the main restaurant or at the Cliff Restaurant, was outstanding. There was a huge variety of dishes, everything was fresh, and every meal was full of flavour. Every member of staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. Everyone was genuinely warm, friendly, and attentive, always greeting us with a smile and making sure we had everything we needed. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for better service. The spa deserves a special mention. From the warm, professional service to the beautiful facilities and fantastic treatments, it was one of the best spa experiences we’ve had. The beachfront location is simply perfect. The crystal-clear turquoise waters are stunning, and the sunsets each evening are unforgettable. We would highly recommend Royal Zanzibar Resort to anyone visiting Zanzibar. It truly exceeded our expectations in every way, and we can’t wait to return in the near future.

The staff at this hotel are the best staff I have ever come across. The kindness me and my partner have experienced since being here have been unmatched! Nothing is ever too much and the staff at the bars, the pool attendants and at the restaurants can’t do enough for you, a real credit to the hotel! A special to mention to Dimitri who works at the bar who has made our stay unforgettable, the experience and kindness he has shown us will stay with us, a real asset to the hotel. Another mention to Omari in the cliff restaurant who has also been fantastic and extremely kind! The grounds of this hotel are so well maintained and plenty of activities for everybody! The street food night here was particularly great & the rooms are super spacious and comfortable!

We had an amazing stay at this resort. When we reported an issue with our room, the staff responded promptly, kindly moved us to another room, and even upgraded us. We truly appreciated how professionally and thoughtfully they handled the situation. What impressed us the most was the exceptional hospitality. Every member of the staff treated us with genuine warmth and kindness, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The service was outstanding and exceeded our expectations. We would especially like to thank Mr. Salim for always taking such wonderful care of us, Ms. Ivone for the beautiful honeymoon room decoration, and Executive Chef Mr. Hans for preparing the best meals we enjoyed during our stay. We are also sincerely grateful to every staff member who welcomed us with such genuine hospitality and made our honeymoon so memorable. If we ever return to Zanzibar, we will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Lovely hotel, the most friendly staff you can wish for, amazingly and beautiful fresh food, nice private beach and an incredible Spa. I definitely recommend it. Even if the hotel is fully booked, there are so many sun beds and spread-out pools, you find an almost private place for yourself.
