Distance from airport

The best way to arrive at Nh Collection Maldives Reethi Resort is via a scenic seaplane flight, which takes approximately 35 minutes from Male International Airport. We had an amazing stay at NH Collection Maldives Havodda Resort. The island is very quiet and relaxing, perfect if you’re looking to disconnect and slow down. It was beautiful to be able to walk from one side of the island to the other in about 15 minutes, surrounded by incredible water and lovely marine life. The atmosphere throughout the resort felt very intimate, with great restaurants and a really nice overall vibe. The beach bar was also a highlight, serving excellent cocktails and a great place to relax by the water. Overall, we truly had the time of our life and would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful Maldivian escape.

I stayed Jan 27th - Jan 31st 20206. The accommodations (over water bungalow) and service was amazing. Rashed always kept our room super clean and stocked, we were very grateful for him. The Pool Bar Server and all the Restaurant staff were giving 10 star service. I was amazed on how well we were treated! My 1 Star comes for our last day. We were told the night before - around 8pm that our sea plane transfer was at 11am. That would not leave us enough time to catch our flight at 1pm. When we talked to front end they said they would let us know by tomorrow morning but try to change the time to 9am. At 6:20am I received a text saying our sea plane transfer was at 7am. I had only woken up to the text. We begged for an extension and they were able to accommodate 7:30am . Upon checking out. I was given a 3600$ USD charge although our resort was already paid for through our travel agency. We tried to have them call Suhasini regarding payment but they could not reach her. I was told they would touch base with her and we would be refunded. I have called and emailed the resort numerous times and no one has contacted me. The travel agency keeps claiming we should be refunded, but I have heard nothing from the resort

Our stay at Reethi Resort was one of the worst resort experiences we’ve had - anywhere. The rooms were unacceptable: bugs everywhere (especially in the washroom), unclean and torn bedsheets. When we complained, we were told to “embrace the bugs” because it’s a “nature resort.” That excuse might work for a budget eco-lodge, not for a so-called 5-star resort. Service was poor and unfriendly. A staff member named Kesna (not sure if i spell it right) was particularly rude and dismissive when we shared feedback during billing. Food was below average, with very limited variety. We chose this resort for New Year’s celebration, and it was an absolute joke. They burnt a few coconut tree leaves and abruptly ended the celebration - no fireworks, no groovy music, no atmosphere. The New Year feast cost extra, which is fine, but the spread didn’t remotely justify the price. The pathetic celebration completely ruined our New Year, especially while we could see a far better celebration at a nearby resort, before walking back to our bug-filled room. They claim free water, but provide only one 2-liter bottle per day; refills cost extra. The resort is extremely remote, the boat ride is rough, amenities are poor, and the property feels dated. They also operate on “Reethi Time” (1 hour ahead of Maldives time), effectively forcing an early checkout. We’ve stayed at many other Maldives resorts, and none were this disappointing. Absolutely not a 5-star resort. We regret choosing Reethi and strongly advise others to look elsewhere.

Worst holiday experience of our lives. We spent almost €9,000 for 9 days, expecting a safe and relaxing family holiday. Instead, this resort delivered stress, neglect, and serious risks to our 14-month-old baby’s health. Our Christmas and New Year were completely ruined. The resort reopened clearly unprepared: staff and management were untrained, disorganized, and unprofessional. Despite staying 700 meters from the restaurant with a baby, buggy transportation was refused. Only after four days of constant complaints were we moved closer. The all-inclusive food was extremely poor. We were often hungry, and there was nothing suitable for a baby, which is unacceptable for a “family” resort. We experienced cold water for bathing our baby, power outages, and repeated electricity problems in the room. Even basic requests required multiple calls. Room service and reception were chaotic; one reception staff member was openly rude and dismissive. The situation became critical when we were severely bitten by sand fleas, and our baby became unwell and in visible pain. This turned our stay into a medical and emotional nightmare. The only positives were the natural coral reef and the children’s playground. This resort is not suitable for families with infants, does not meet basic hospitality standards, and is absolutely not worth the price. We deeply regret choosing it for our first family vacation. .

This resort is a disaster. It is old, shabby, and completely overpriced. The "renovation" is a joke. We booked a big Two Bedroom Family Villa, but they tried to put us in a suite surrounded by sharp branches, dirt, and sandbags where you couldn't even enter the water. We lost a whole day fighting with the manager. He moved us to a smaller, cheaper villa and promised a refund for the difference. We are still waiting for that money. The food is terrible (raw omelette, hidden food items like ham). The chef gave us wrong info regarding allergens, leading to a serious allergic reaction. Valentine's Day was a joke. No celebration at all, just a few red pastries on the table. It was pathetic! Everything is an extra charge. $15 for a kid’s milkshake. $50 for a chocolate bar from the mini-bar (prices are hidden until you leave). Scam! There is no real butler service. Do not waste your money and time here.
