I had the dinner buffet at Ellenborough market cafe. It is definitely one of the good spreads available in this range of hotels. Seafood was top class, so were the other non veg sections with a good mix of Asian and western cuisine which is important to appeal all kinds of crowd. Service was good too. I would definitely recommend it to people who can eat well and do justice to such extensive buffets!

Overall it's a nice enough hotel in a prime location. The hotel is next to Clarke Quay and the MRT station. The lobby and pool area is nice. The only downside is that I wouldn't class this hotel as a true 5 star. Maybe in the 1990s to 2000s but it looks dated now and the room decor looks tired, I had a premier king room. I'd class it as a 4 star at most and I've stayed in many 5 star hotels around the world. The carpets and decor are dated and the rooms had a minor peculiar smell that I could only put down to the carpets and humidity. Some of the rooms had an aircon noise that hummed past acceptable levels. I only know this as I asked for a seperate room after the first night due to the noisy aircon that kept me awake. The second room had an even noisier motor than the first. Then they escorted me to a third room which was whisper quiet, so there was a definate issue with some of the rooms aircon units. But they accommodated me well with my requests. Overall it's good hotel and didn't regret it, but for the price not sure I would stay here again.

Every time I travel for business trip, I will stay here. As hotel next to Central mall and have MRT station inside so very good for me to go everywhere. Location is great, hotel at Clark Quay area. For tourist, easy to find food and walk around. Room is ok for me. I like breakfast as it’s not too many but it’s good enough.

Ellenborough Market Cafe A great place for a high-quality buffet with a wide variety of cuisines, including fresh seafood, Chinese, Japanese, Western, and Indian selections. The durian pengat is especially popular and just as delicious as everyone says. It’s also a wonderful spot to gather with family and friends during Chinese New Year, as the buffet includes a fun DIY mini Yu Sheng (Lo Hei) experience — perfect for celebrating and tossing for prosperity together.

Well located in Clark Quay, this is a large busy hotel. All the staff we encountered were friendly and extremely helpful. Our room had been upgraded and was large, well equipped and comfortable. We always went early to breakfast and did not encounter the problems mentioned in other reviews. Selection of food was pretty good. Alcoholic drinks were a bit expensive but the cocktail i had was delicious. Swimming pool does not have room for a lot of loungers and I would imagine gets very crowded at busy times, but was fairly quiet when we were there and we had a nice swim. All in all very happy with our stay.
