The breakfast was awesome with options for every palate! The aesthics in the lobby was beautiful. Housekeeping by Naveen was top tier. He was so attentive, informative and resourceful with ensuring our concerns were addressed. He was just a 10/10. Now for areas of improvement: we had twin beds, but we were expecting full sized beds. We were told that was the normal size bed when requesting separate beds. The TV streaming was horrible. I watched HBO and Discovery channels and I could never follow the plot because the picture would freeze for 45 seconds sometimes and you would miss the whole plot. They tried to fix it, but it was that way our 8 nights. The AC seemed like it was turned off at nights, as we would get hot-probably motion sensor, as it was cold during the days. They said they fixed it, but it got hot at nights again. Overall, the hotel is beautiful with a great location for shopping and eating with everything in walking distance.

I have now stayed at Orchard Hotel Singapore three times and always enjoy the comfortable experience. A massive shoutout to the Housekeeping Department—the cleanliness is consistently top-notch. Specifically, I want to thank Khatir (on my third visit) for his wonderful support and diligence in keeping my room in impeccable shape. True professionalism that makes a huge difference! Highly recommend! Would like to add appreciation for Mr. Xin Peng.

Hotel is well positioned with adjoining shopping mall which has a good supermarket. Paid extra for a Signature Room which was nice and was well serviced. Service at Breakfast was terrible with long queues experienced every morning of our five night visit. Food for breakfast was plentiful.But due to the amount of people to be served it was chaotic to move around. Not sure what the hotel can do to improve this experience, but it needs to be fixed. Service on check out was nothing short of awful. One poor receptionist trying her hardest to service 4 people checking in. 6 people including us waiting to check out. Nobody around to ask for another person to help the receptionist. Finally, another (very unhappy) receptionist arrived. Never acknowledged that people had been waiting for a while to be served, no apologies given, no eye contact with people waiting. Very Very Bad Customer Experience. Happy to provide date and time this happened

We had an excellent staying at the hotel. Mahe was brilliant in keeping our family room clean and ready everyday. Cleanest and staff service and attention were great. Breakfast was too. We hope to repeat the experience sometime soon. Thank you for all the work and dedication people put to offer such a high quality service.

Unfortunately I had issues with Orchard Hotel and the service received there. The service is by no means what I would expect from a 4.5-5.0 star hotel. Please see my issues listed below: 1. At check in the reception girl was very unfriendly and unwelcoming and a little rude. She didn't wish me a nice stay or make any small talk. 2. My first day at Orchard Hotel I turned on the green light for the maid to clean my room. And I told one of the reception girls I turned the green light on and wanted my room cleaned and she said it will be cleaned. I returned to my room five hours later and it had not been cleaned. 3. A girl who worked in the breakfast dining room yelled at me after I changed tables when someone seated next to me was rude. This was on 11/14/25 or 11/15/25. I did mention this to Concierge Taib and he said he would speak to the dining room manager. 4. While Concierge Taib seemed to be nice and listened to my complaints, I have a major issue with him. I asked for a place to shop for souvenirs and he asked what I was looking for. He read me wrong and sent me to Lucky Plaza that I didn't like, I thought Lucky Plaza was not nice and going there took up a number of hours and energy of my vacation time in Singapore. I mentioned this to the tour guide and she mentioned Ion Mall which was more what I was looking for from her description of Ion Mall. 5. The sink stopper in my room was broken and Concierge Taib contacted maintenance to have it fixed. 6. I wanted to go swimming in the pool, but I didn't feel safe using the pool ladders. I suspect there are other guests who stay at Orchard Hotel who have the same thought. Other hotels I stayed in had stairs and handrails to get into the pool water thatI felt safe entering the water. 7. I ordered a soft drink in the bar and when I wanted to pay for my purchase, there wasn't an employee in the bar. Someone affiliated with the hotel went and got an employee for me to pay for my Pepsi. 8. I ate an early dinner in the bar one night and the music was way too loud and annoying. I ordered the fried rice and a piece of shrimp was in it with its shell still on and I made the mistake of eating it and I began coughing and after a long while I was okay. 9. I asked a girl employee at the entrance to a restaurant on the second floor where the elevator to the grocery store was and she didn't know and said something I couldn't make out when I told her she should know. 10. I returned to my room late afternoon on 11/17/25 and the door to my room was open and two workmen were in it without my permission and they told me they were adjusting something on the rooms on my floor. I was angry they were in my room without my prior knowledge and I wanted to be alone. 11. I returned to the hotel after a tour and there was a young bellman who was smart with me when I said, "thank you."
