I have been dreaming of visiting this resort for a long time and fortunately for me my husband decided to surprise me for my birthday. The weather was unique during all 5 days, so we were able to enjoy to the maximum all the beauty that the island has to offer. Special thanks to the resort manager, who upgraded our villa, which we really appreciate. The service is at a very high level, the cleanliness is impeccable everywhere and something very important, they cook very tasty food in all the restaurants. The breakfast was also very rich. It is definitely the best island we have visited in the Maldives, I recommend it with both hands. Thanks to the entire staff for the wonderful experience.

Our stay at One & Only Maldives was absolutely incredible. Everything from the beautiful villas and pristine beaches to the delicious food and outstanding service exceeded our expectations. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The resort is peaceful, luxurious, and perfectly maintained, making it the ideal place to relax and unwind. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, and we truly couldn't fault a single thing. It was a perfect vacation, and we would highly recommend One & Only Maldives to anyone looking for a luxury escape. We can't wait to come back!

Very disappointing experience — definitely not what we expected Our experience at Ellaidhoo Maldives by Cinnamon was extremely disappointing, starting from the moment we arrived. The biggest problem was the lack of transparency. We were told that certain things were included in our package, which created a completely different expectation from what we actually experienced during our stay. Only later did we discover that several things were charged separately. If something is not included, guests should be clearly informed beforehand, not after they have already arrived and made decisions based on what the staff told them. The way the information was communicated to us was particularly frustrating. We felt that we were being told one thing at the beginning and then faced with a completely different reality afterward. For a resort at this price level, this is simply unacceptable. Unfortunately, the service did not make up for it either. From the beginning, we did not feel genuinely welcomed or properly taken care of. Instead of feeling like valued guests, we felt like we constantly had to question what was included, what we would be charged for, and whether the information we were given was actually reliable. A holiday in the Maldives is a significant investment, and guests deserve transparency, respectful treatment and clear communication from the moment they arrive. The island and the reef may be beautiful, but a beautiful location cannot compensate for poor communication, unexpected charges and disappointing customer service. Based on our experience, we would not return to Ellaidhoo Maldives by Cinnamon and would not recommend it to friends or family. Before booking, I strongly recommend asking for everything included in writing, including drinks, activities, transfers and any possible additional charges. Do not rely only on what you are told verbally at check-in.

One&Only was one of those places that felt special from the moment I arrived. I honestly can’t pick just one thing because the whole place has its own atmosphere. But I really loved the design — not only the villas but the entire island. Everything felt beautiful and thoughtfully done without feeling too much The island itself was something I really enjoyed. It felt so green and peaceful, and somehow much more alive than I expected. I loved just riding around on bicycles, walking with no plan and looking at that unreal turquoise water. It’s one of those places where you suddenly stop checking the time and simply enjoy the moment🩵

Returning for our second visit, the service remains consistently excellent. The Japanese restaurant is elegant, and the Teppanyaki chef was both professional and highly entertaining. The hot stone massage in the spa was a perfect highlight. A special thank you to Hafeez at the breakfast restaurant—his attentive and thoughtful service made our mornings so heartwarming; he truly deserves recognition! And I really love the gym where I can watch YouTube while exercising that I went to there every morning and night. Our butler, Hamneed, was also timely and helpful throughout our stay. While our Beach Villa was perfection, I’d like to note that the bathroom in our Water Villa had a noticeable odor issue that needs attention. Overall, we had a fantastic time and are very satisfied.
