Simply can not fault this destination. Rooms are spectacular and are serviced twice daily. I love the turn down service at night. Food and drinks are fabulous, great variety, mini bar is free, all the food is free, the main bar is free. There were a few extra dinners like the lobster night which we paid extra for but it was so worth it. The staff are just beautiful. Rada, & Nisha in the main restaurant was funny, engaging, and just great. Sayan in the main bar is outstanding. Making specific cocktails for us and just being a lovely human. The underwater restaurant was a great night out, our little handling fishing tour/sunset was fun and snorkelling tour was great. We simply can not fault this resort, location, people, food and just RELAXING for 7 days.

We spent 5 days in an overwater villa for our honeymoon and had the most amazing time. Both my husband and I were so impressed by OBLU Lobigili and it was even better than we had imagined. Our room was beautiful, spacious, and the outdoor bathroom/shower/hammock was our favorite part. You feel so in touch with nature and so relaxed here, an experience we haven’t felt elsewhere. The housekeeping staff was great and our room was cleaned twice a day and kept spotless. The island is beautiful with so much to do, from various beaches to snorkel, a lovely pool, plenty of spaces to lay out/lounge during the day either poolside or more privately on the beach, water sports, recreational activities, and a nice sized gym with fitness activities throughout the day. The app makes it easy to see the schedule and know what is going on, hours, as well as see menus of the various restaurants/bars. It is connected to the other side of the resort which is more family friendly which you have access to as well (although Lobigili is just for guests staying at Lobigili which is really nice). This gave some variety and we enjoyed being able to walk over there and just explore a new place during the day and gives some variety to the trip as well. The most impressive part was the food! I am a pretty tough food critic and usually never stay at all inclusive because I love having GOOD food on vacation and usually all inclusive aren’t that great. This place was AMAZING and we still talk about how we miss various dishes we had or all the options we had for each meal. You will not go hungry and the food is all freshly cooked, so many options for all different types of cuisines, and we never felt bored of the options over the 6 days we were there. One of the most unique aspects was the island host you get for your stay. Ours was Maryem and she was absolutely amazing! She helped schedule our massage, dinner, and excursions and checked in on us each day to see how things were, remind us of our daily itinerary, and share the resorts itinerary of events for the day. She was so kind and really made our trip memorable. And that goes for the rest of the staff too, everyone was so kind and always greeted you with a smile and really took the time to get to know you. I highly recommend this resort if coming to the Maldives, we can’t wait to go back!

My wife and I spent 8 days at this resort, and we couldn't have made a better choice. The island is beautifully maintained and designed to offer maximum privacy, making it ideal for a romantic getaway. It truly feels like you’re the only guests there no lines, no waiting, no noise. It’s the perfect place for a completely relaxing vacation. The rooms are spacious, elegant, and equipped with every comfort. Cleanliness is impeccable: twice a day, our housekeeper Khet came by with unmatched discretion and kindness. She always fulfilled our requests and gave us total flexibility with cleaning times. Her creative towel and bed decorations added a truly special touch every day.

Our honeymoon at Lobigili was absolutely perfect. Staying in an overwater villa with a private pool was truly worth it! But what really makes this place special, is the staff. Every single person we met there was incredibly attentive and welcoming. Our hostess Maryam made sure everything was seamless, Carol always greeted us with the biggest smile at the restaurant, and Mehru was wonderful as well. These are just a few names we remember, but honestly, all of the staff deserve recognition. A special mention to the chefs as the food was fantastic every time, with so much quality in every meal. We are already missing this beautiful place and are very much looking forward to returning in the future. It definitely made our honeymoon unforgettable.

The Vibe & The "Lobi" Aesthetic Forget the "rustic shipwreck" vibe; Lobigili is a sophisticated, cosmopolitan sanctuary. The convenience of a 15-minute speedboat transfer from Malé is an absolute game-changer—you are in paradise while others are still waiting in a lounge. Upon arrival, the signature rose welcome sets a romantic tone that the General Manager and our host, Alpi, maintained throughout our stay. The resort exudes a tranquil, adult-centric calm. While entertainment is minimal, the option exists to visit the livelier neighboring island for a change of pace. However, we never felt the need to leave; the atmosphere at Lobigili is naturally social, and we enjoyed wonderful conversations with other couples at the bar. The "social hub" by the infinity pool feels like a high-end Mediterranean beach club—watching dolphins skip past the pool’s edge while sipping cocktails was a core memory for us. Culinary Excellence The all-inclusive offering here is generous and high-caliber: * Only BLU: The underwater dining experience is surreal, offering an immersive view of marine life in a refined setting. * Gaadiya: The lobster dinner (supplement applies) was succulent and well worth the addition. * The Marketplace: The Gala dinner was a gastronomic triumph—diverse, fresh, and beautifully presented. The Gold Standard of Service While the entire team is stellar, a few individuals redefined hospitality for us: * Alpi (Our Host): A total star. She went the extra mile daily, ensuring chilled watermelon juice was delivered to our overwater villa every morning without us asking. * Shilo & the Bar Team:They went to great lengths to source specialty beers for me and curated sophisticated, balanced cocktails throughout our stay. * Elin & Rashka:Our waitstaff were the heartbeat of our dining experience—always radiant, impeccably professional, and one step ahead of our needs. * Niheart (Sangeli): A special mention for his "seamless handover." He personally briefed the team and introduced us to the Spa Manager, ensuring we were treated like royalty before our boat even docked. Honest Expectations: Nature & Clarity For the discerning traveler, it’s worth noting that the proximity to Malé means the island feels more "curated" than wild. Due to local dredging projects, the water clarity on the house reef can be temperamental, and the marine density isn't quite as robust as the more remote atolls. However, for a seamless, high-luxury honeymoon where you are pampered from start to finish, these are minor trade-offs.
