Do not stay here. This hotel is absolutely filthy from the lobby bathrooms to the actual hotel room. There is no refrigerator which was a surprise for me. There is no ice machine. I had to ask the bell staff everyday to please get me ice which I found irritating. There is no top sheet so you have to crank the air down really far to put up with the super heavy comforter. The bed and pillow was awful. The room they gave us was SO small. We barely had any room to walk around in it. I was so disappointed. The only good thing was the free coffee in the morning and the location. I will not come here ever again. The cafe on the ground floor had massive water damage and the attendant was no where to be found if I needed assistance. My daughter heard the manager firing one of the employees on the spot. If you want rough living that is close to shopping and do not mind absolute filth then here is your hotel.

First of all, the front desk staff and the manager, Lucas, were unbelievably rude. I’ve never experienced someone in hospitality speak to guests the way he did. Instead of trying to help, he was disrespectful, unprofessional, and even told me they would kick me out of the hotel—even though I still had three more days left on my reservation! I’ve never experienced anything so ridiculous and unacceptable. The room was filthy. The carpet was dirty, the bed and couch looked unclean, and the furniture was old, worn out, and damaged. The entire room felt neglected and poorly maintained. There was leftover food from previous guests, dirt, dust, and other things that clearly showed the room had not been properly cleaned before our arrival. It was honestly disgusting. There was also a broken mirror in the room that was dangerous. They had placed a paper napkin underneath it, and the broken edge scratched my hand. This is a serious safety issue that should never be overlooked. On top of that, there was no hand soap provided in the room, which is a basic necessity that every hotel room should have. The room didn’t even have basic necessities that should already be provided. We had to keep asking for things that should have been there from the start. When we requested fresh towels (which should have already been in the room), it took nearly an hour to receive them. Every time we asked for something, the staff acted like we were making unreasonable demands, when we were simply asking for basic hotel amenities. Also, do not use the hair dryer in the room. Mine was broken, and there seems to be an electrical issue. Every time the hair dryer was turned on, the lights started flashing and going extremely low and then suddenly very high. This is a serious safety concern and something the hotel should address immediately. To make things even worse, they wouldn’t even provide a single complimentary bottle of water per day. For the price of this hotel, that is extremely disappointing. The customer service was terrible, the room service was incredibly slow, and the overall experience was frustrating from beginning to end. This wasn’t my first stay at this hotel, but it will definitely be my last. It’s incredibly disappointing to see how much the service has declined. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Save yourself the disappointment and stay somewhere else!!!!

I stayed at NoMo SoHo from June 25 to July 2, and unfortunately my experience was consistently disappointing. The service was often rude and unhelpful. Don't expect a refrigerator in your room or complimentary bottled water beyond a single inexpensive reusable bottle. Staff instructed me to refill it for the remainder of my stay at the gym on the basement level. The room itself had several issues. The windows did not function properly, and when I contacted the hotel to have them fixed, I was simply told not to use them. Basic amenities were also lacking. I had no hand soap, and the room cleaning service was inconsistent even after multiple requests. Customer service was equally frustrating. When I called for assistance arranging a car to the airport, the front desk told me they couldn't help and that I would need to go to the bottom level to speak with the bell staff myself. Simple requests often required repeating multiple times before receiving a response. The in-room entertainment was also disappointing. Screen mirroring on the television did not work, leaving only overpriced movie rentals (around $20 each) and adult content available. The only redeeming quality of this hotel is its location. In my opinion, that is what keeps guests coming back, because the level of service and the quality of the amenities fall well below what I would expect for the price and for a hotel of this standard in New York City.

Really cool exterior and nice lobby, but this hotel is seriously in need of some major renovations. We booked one of their nicer 1 bed suite rooms, and it was one of the dirtiest hotels I've ever stayed at. Actually, it was by far the dirtiest hotel I've been to at this price point. Our friends in other rooms said the same thing. Multi-colored stains on the couches (we didn't dare sit on the couches), foot prints, dirty carpets, smears on the walls, etc. I don't like writing reviews like this but management definitely should consider refreshing the product they're offering. Service was fine, the bed was solid too, no late checkout though. But definitely would not recommend staying here if you care about cleanliness and a properly maintained hotel room. Pros: fantastic location (perfect for metro and Uber pick up), good views from the rooms,

The location of this hotel is fantastic, but unfortunately the front desk staff completely overshadowed what could have been a positive experience. The front desk is the first impression guests have of the hotel, and in my experience, that impression was extremely disappointing. I was traveling for work and trying to sort out a booking issue late at night. My phone was about to die, so I simply asked if there was any way I could briefly charge it while resolving the reservation. Rather than making any effort to help or offer an alternative, the front desk employee, Jasmin, immediately said no and then proceeded to argue with me. What stood out most wasn’t that my request could not be accommodated it was the complete lack of initiative to help in any way. Hospitality is about problem-solving and making guests feel supported, especially when they’re already dealing with a stressful situation. Instead, the staff made an already difficult situation significantly more complicated than it needed to be. To make matters worse, management handled the situation poorly and did nothing to de-escalate or address the issue. It was disappointing to see such a lack of professionalism. The hotel’s location is its strongest asset, but the level of service I experienced would make me think twice about staying here again.
