Good news first: Sizable bathroom, big shower, and good water pressure. A pullout hallway mirror was a pretty neat concept. Electric blackout curtain. Bad news: The HVAC system. In our room, didn't matter what you adjusted thermostat to, the only option was too hot. A fan in the room couldn't offset that. The bed is strangely low. A business associate thought his was a Murphy bed, upon first seeing it. Not very comfortable, though the bedding was. Our floor was uneven, so if you pulled out the rolling desk chair it rolled away. Didn't hate location. Walked twice to Brooklyn Bridge and over. Beautiful water views very nearby. Room view was of a skyscraper canyon. Staff very nice. On-site bar super-pricey.

I had a wonderful experience at the Hyatt Centric Wall Street! The staff were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and went above and beyond to make our stay special. They surprised us with a room upgrade and allowed us to check in early, which made such a difference after traveling. The room itself was massive and spacious - so much more room than we expected! Everything about our stay was perfect, and the outstanding service from the team really made it memorable. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting New York!

Listen to the reviews. Save yourself from a sleepless, cranky stay. The HVAC situation is ridiculous. You have zero control over the temp of your room, and for us, it was unbearably hot. We stayed 3 nights the week before Christmas. We left our thermostat set to 60. Not exaggerating - the room felt like 80 degrees the entire time. I was sweating just getting dressed. When I mentioned it to the front desk after the first night, there was no sympathy or apology for the issue they must hear about daily. The front desk host didn’t even smile or make eye contact. He acted like I was just another complaining guest he didn’t want to deal with. I asked for a fan for the room at 8:30 am. At 4pm the same day, we still had no fan and had to ask again. The bed is moderately comfortable but the pillows are flat and hard. The bathroom is spacious but aging. Our bathroom door handle was falling off. There is an absurd frosted glass window between the shower and the bedroom, which means every time my husband got up to use the bathroom during the night, it flooded the bedroom with light. They’ve also installed a remote panel for the lights and blinds on the wall above the nightstand with bright green lights. I had to cover the panel with a backpack to block the light. The sink has a large faucet that hangs over half the sink so you have to work around it to brush your teeth or wash your face, and water then soaks the floor. The shower didn’t drain until the water was turned off. Gross. If you prefer a cool, dark room to sleep, don’t stay here. Overall, a terrible stay. Do better, Hyatt.

The rooms are dated but large. This is definitely not a 5 start hotel. The heating systems make it unbearable. It’s.so warm in the rooms you cannot sleep. The staff was not helpful. I see by the reviews that this is a known issue. I wish I had read them before I booked. Do not stay here if you wish to rest comfortably.

Hotel staff were very accommodating. Because of an early flight we asked to check in at 10:30 AM and were promptly given our rooms. So rare!! Location is good if you don’t mind taking subways to theaters. Decent gym too. I’ll be staying there again.
