Memorable Stay I stayed at the Movenpick Jumeirah Beach from the 8th to the 11th of November and had a truly delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Every member of staff was warm, courteous, and professional, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Can’t remember the exact name Zahid or zahir at the reception desk had exceptional customer service. A special mention to a gentleman from Egypt (unfortunately I didn’t catch his name) whose constant smile and willingness to assist made our stay even more enjoyable. His genuine hospitality perfectly reflected the high standards of the hotel. Another standout was Ashish, who kindly assisted with our luggage before our departure. The hotel’s location is unbeatable — right on The Walk, just steps away from the beach, surrounded by vibrant cafés, restaurants, and nightlife. The atmosphere in the evenings is lively yet refined. Our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, offering a perfect balance of luxury and relaxation. Overall, an exceptional stay that exceeded expectations — I would not hesitate to return or recommend Movenpick Jumeirah Beach to anyone seeking comfort, elegance, and impeccable service.

Positive aspects: To start with the good: the hotel is relatively affordable for its location. The beds are comfortable, and the shower was very clean. A few members of staff stood out for their friendliness: particularly two people in the Executive Lounge, some of the chefs at the restaurant, and the lifeguard/towel attendant by the pool. The managers seemed kind and willing to help when approached. They have nice oatmeal cookies in the exec. Lounge. In the upper floors the view can be nice between the buildings so aim to get a room in the highest floor possible. However, the overall stay was extremely disappointing. The property has clearly seen better days. It feels old and poorly maintained: much of the furniture is worn out, and the carpets in the rooms are dirty. Basic amenities like conditioner, hand soap, and towels were not replenished unless we specifically requested them. A MAJOR issue is the overwhelming smell of cigarettes in the reception area. The bar next to the lobby allows smoking, and since the doors remain open, the smoke spreads throughout the entire area. It’s unpleasant and unhealthy - something we’ve never experienced in any of the 15 or so hotels we’ve visited across the UAE. So, your first impression upon arrival is poor service and a cloud of smoke. Service quality overall was below average. Even as Accor Platinum members. Communication was inconsistent and often contradictory - we received different answers from different staff members about the same requests. One example: when asking for a late check-out, we were told at least 10 different things over two days, which made planning extremely difficult. Food and dining experience: We had booked full board and ate exclusively at the hotel. Unfortunately, all three of us experienced food poisoning - twice for me and my child, and once for my husband. The food quality was very poor: overcooked meats and seafood, cheap-tasting desserts, old fruit (especially the watermelon), and stale bread. Variety and flavor were disappointing throughout. Facilities and comfort: Sound insulation is weak. Despite staying on the 21st floor, we could clearly hear club music all night on Saturday. You can perfectly hear your neighbors as well. The children’s play area is tiny, outdated, and has some broken equipment that seems unsafe. To top it off, we got stuck in the elevator twice during our stay; a serious safety concern. Overall: While the few friendly staff members and comfortable beds are positives, the hotel’s age, poor maintenance, unfriendly and inconsistent service, hygiene concerns, and food quality make this a place we cannot recommend. As it stands, the property feels more like a 2- to 3-star hotel, which is a real shame given Mövenpick’s usual reliability.

I had an excellent stay at the Movenpick JBR between the 18th and 30th of October. The hotel was spotless throughout my stay, and the atmosphere was consistently welcoming and relaxing. One of the highlights is the variety of bar options on-site — each offering a different vibe, great drinks, and attentive service. Whether you want something lively or a quieter place to unwind, you’ll always find the right spot. It is also very well located in JBR, very close to shops and the beach. The staff truly made the difference. Everyone was incredibly kind and professional, and a few team members deserve a special mention for going above and beyond: Jagat and Ram – always attentive, respectful, and helpful. Abida, Himaya, Stephen Hafeez, and Irene– exceptional service, warm energy, and great recommendations every day. Bala and Alfred– very efficient, friendly, and made the whole check-out process effortless. Overall, this was a fantastic stay. Clean hotel, great facilities, and a team that genuinely cares about guests. I highly recommend Movenpick JBR and will definitely return.

The hotel is perfectly located, close walk to the beach, tram, and shops. The view from our room was amazing. The food is good and friendly staff. A special thanks to Htoo Aung, Zin, Victory and Aisha from the restaurant for the great service. The check-in was easy and pleasant thanks to Julia. The complimentary chocolate hour is a nice touch, Lucky served us with a smile at all times. We will definitely be back for another stay.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It was a pleasure staying at Mövenpick Jumeirah Beach for two nights. The experience was truly enriching — from the vibrant culinary options to the beautiful beach access right by The Walk, everything was perfectly convenient and relaxing. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making the stay even more comfortable. A special mention to Bala from the Concierge Department, who went the extra mile to assist us and made our checkout experience memorable. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a blend of comfort, great location, and genuine hospitality in Dubai
