We absolutely loved our stay. The arrival tour was such a thoughtful touch - it saved us from wandering around trying to get our bearings. Every staff member we met was amazing: cheerful, friendly, and genuinely uplifting, which made a huge difference to our experience, thank you! The beach and pool were immaculate, and the food was delicious with new options every day - no repetitive buffet dishes. We had a fantastic time and would definitely return.

The hotel has managed to maintain its standards without feeling outdated, which is quite rare. What stands out most is how effortless the entire experience feels. Everything is well thought through, from arrival to departure, and the team clearly knows how to deliver a smooth, stress-free stay. The atmosphere is exactly what you want from an adults-only resort — calm, unhurried, and genuinely relaxing. It’s the kind of place where you can completely disconnect without feeling bored. There’s a good balance between doing nothing and having just enough low-key activities if you want them. Nothing feels forced or over-organized. Overall, it’s not about one standout feature — it’s the consistency across all aspects that makes this place special. Still one of the best-value resorts we’ve experienced in the Maldives.

We had an amazing time at the Mercure Maldives Kooddoo Resort, the resort staff has done everything to make our stay very pleasant. Communication before our arrival and arrangements for the domestic flights were seamless. The setting of the resort is beautiful, pristine beach and clear water where we spent a lot of time enjoying the sights of the wonderful marine life. The overwater sunset bungalows were perfect for relaxing, we loved the spaciousness, direct lagoon access, and thoughtful floor plan. The food at both restaurants was absolutely delicious, kudos to the chefs and all restaurant staff for an excellent service. The tennis court was an added bonus, though a newer set of tennis balls would be recommended and had we known this before we would have brought a set :-)
