Absolute Paradise! Exceptional Service & Unforgettable Memories Our stay at LUX* South Ari Atoll was nothing short of magical, and it is an absolute five-star resort all around! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how stunningly beautiful and meticulously well-maintained the entire island is. It truly feels like paradise. What sets this resort apart, however, is the exceptional service. Every single staff member and the resort manager went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, extremely helpful, and genuinely friendly throughout our entire stay. A huge highlight for us was the incredible value of the activities included in the resort fee. We took full advantage of the water sports and had a blast kayaking, paddleboarding, and snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters. We also loved the complimentary photographer service, which captured some beautiful family memories. To top it all off, we were celebrating my mom’s birthday during our stay, and the resort made it incredibly special. They surprised her with a gorgeous birthday cake, wine, and a beautifully decorated bed. It was a wonderful, thoughtful touch that left us deeply impressed and so happy. We had a super fun, flawless vacation and will definitely be back. Thank you, LUX* South Ari Atoll, for an unforgettable trip!

Went here for our wedding anniversary. After a 30 min sea plane journey post flight, you reach Lux. It's a lovely resort with lots of activities and 8 restaurants and bars to try out. The staff made the place even more special going above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The beaches were stunning, was happy to see it wasn't an unnatural blue unlike some of the other islands. The food at senses was exceptional. We had to skip the teppenyaki session at umami but the sushi truly felt delicious and very fresh. Seafood is the way to go in Lux. The room service was the highlight. The staff were very kind, and our arrangements at both our rooms felt special. Loved the ice creams at ici. Coffee is good at the cafe, not the capsules in the room. All their activities need prior booking and are subject to the weather. I would skip the whale shark snorkeling just because it felt borderline unethical. The bad, the meats, especially chicken was definitely not fresh. Beach Rouge true to its reviews was not great during dinner. We had lunch there which was much better. The Italian restaurant for all its premium exclusivity was okay. I was a little shocked in the difference in treatment between honeymoon and 1st wedding anniversary. We were in Lux Mauritius for our honeymoon and truly felt special there. 11 months later at another Lux and we were ignored during our anniversary as well. That was surprising. I didn't want (O or expect) an entire week of activities like the other lux, but some freebie for our anniversary would have surely made it memorable. We left feeling something was missing. They have a lot of celebration package that you need to book, which is probably why we didn't get any extra attention I assume (except for the happy wedding anniversary in our room). Tried to find that tressure hunt bottle for 6 days with no luck, I would just skip the activity unless you find it with no effort. We spotted turtles at the scuba dive from the island euro diver center and I was gifted a turtle by our hotel manager when he knew I was looking for a momento when we left. He also ensured that we had dinner when we had to skip a meal when I got sick one night. All that extra care was truly the best we have felt in terms of hospitality.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An incredible stay – we can’t wait to return! Andrew and I had the most amazing stay at LUX* South Ari Atoll and genuinely couldn’t recommend it highly enough. The island is absolutely beautiful, but what really makes this resort exceptional is the incredible service and wonderful staff. Everything was seamless from the moment we landed in Malé. A LUX* representative met us at the airport, took care of our hand luggage, checked us in for our seaplane and escorted us to the LUX* lounge to relax and have breakfast before our flight. On arrival, staff were waiting on the jetty to welcome us and were there waving goodbye when we sadly had to leave! The personalised service is fantastic. Our concierge, Mira, was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. We could WhatsApp her to arrange restaurants, activities or anything else we needed and she was always friendly, attentive and quick to help. There is so much to do, with different activities every day including coffee roasting, smartphone photography, exercise and art classes, dive talks, bingo and outdoor cinema nights. A real highlight was sunset at Beach Rouge. The DJ each evening was incredibly talented and the atmosphere was amazing – sitting with delicious cocktails, listening to the music, watching the sunset and seeing blacktip reef sharks swimming beneath the deck was unforgettable! The staff really make this resort. Mofizul on the island shuttle was wonderful – always smiling, asking about our day and even remembering our room number and where to take us! Khan at Veli Bar was another absolute star with a brilliant sense of humour who couldn’t do enough for us. We also loved the wonderful lady at East Market who greeted us every morning and even remembered our coffee order. Unfortunately, we didn’t catch her name, but her warmth and personal service made our mornings extra special. Our housekeeper Ahusan was fantastic too. Our room was beautifully looked after twice a day, he was always checking if we needed anything and we loved finding the different towel animals he had created for us! The rooms, beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The food was exceptional and we particularly loved having a choice of restaurants included within the all-inclusive package rather than relying on one buffet every evening. We also had an amazing experience diving with Euro-Divers. There are complimentary guided snorkelling trips to the house reef every few days, plus kayaks, pedal boats and SUPs, so there are plenty of ways to enjoy the incredible water and marine life. LUX* South Ari Atoll is a stunning island with crystal-clear water, beautiful beaches, fantastic food and so much to do, but it is the people who truly make it special. Everyone was so warm, friendly and genuinely wanted us to have an amazing holiday. A huge thank you to Mira, Mofizul, Khan, Ahusan, the lovely lady at East Market and the entire LUX* team for looking after us so well. An unforgettable family vacation in a true tropical paradise. Crystal-clear turquoise waters, pristine white sandy beaches, and lush tropical surroundings create a breathtaking setting. The staff are incredibly warm and attentive, the food is outstanding, and there are plenty of activities for children. Everything is perfectly designed for families to relax and create lifelong memories. We can't wait to come back!

Our stay at Lux* South Ari Atoll was wonderful. The island had so much to offer, lots of activities and it was just perfect. The staff were so welcoming, hospitality was great. Food was top class and as vegetarians we had lots of food options. A big thumbs up to Chef Subbunhi for talking to us and making sure everything was good, the food at MIXE and Senses were extremely good. We highly recommend this island to anybody traveling to Maldives.
