We stayed at Kudafushi in October and had a fantastic experience. The island is small and easy to walk around. The staff truly made the stay special. Everyone was incredibly kind and attentive, especially the restaurant teams, Juju Bar staff, housekeeping, and the leisure centre team. Food was delicious and varied, with a great buffet and two additional restaurants with set menus included in the all inclusive package (reservation required). Food was especially great at the main buffet (always had some kind of pasta, different grilled meat options, rice, chips/pizza/burgers etc.) Snorkeling was excellent with a beautiful reef, and the spa was fabulous. The stay also includes a good range of activities such as paddle boarding, kayaking, diving, and yoga, which was a great bonus. We had a couple of rainy days during our stay and a range of additional activities at the leisure centre were offered asap. Lounge access was provided while waiting for transfer, and we were kindly upgraded to a seaplane transfer, which was a lovely experience. Any algae on the water villa stairs was cleaned promptly upon request. Overall, Kudafushi exceeded our expectations. For the Maldives, we felt the price was very good for what is offered, and the value for money was excellent. We would happily return.

Our stay at Kudafushi was absolutely fabulous and we loved every single minute of it. The island is very pretty and well taken care of! Room service is done twice daily and the food was fantastic with lots of variation and different theme dinners each night. The house reef is in great condition with the chance to see rays, reef sharks and so many colorful fish just by snorkeling. Additionally, the staff is great, very friendly and attentive. We especially want to point out a few people in the restaurant: Lis makes the best eggs in the morning and meat/fish during the rest of the day. Lahiru prepared us the best Nutella crepes we ever had and Malith always created very beautiful and delicious fruit plates. Taken together, we highly recommend this place and would always come back.

We were here in May 2023 for a 10 nights. Great resort, the island is just big enough for walking, everywhere clean. I must highlight the great staff, constantly caring and looking after us. We spent 5 nights in a beach villa and 5 nights in a water villa. I definitely recommend this resort. Maldives are magical place🩵

We spent a few magical days here celebrating my mom’s birthday — and it was absolutely unforgettable! 💫 The hotel went above and beyond to make the day special: they beautifully decorated our room, surprised us with a delicious cake, and offered warm wishes from the entire team. To our delight, we also received a complimentary room upgrade to a stunning villa with breathtaking ocean views — such a wonderful surprise! The island itself is pure paradise: crystal-clear water, white sand beaches, lush greenery, and complete tranquility. Every moment felt perfect, thanks to the kindness and attention of the staff. A special thank you to the manager and the restaurant team for the amazing birthday dinner — it was delicious, elegant, and truly heartwarming. ❤️ Thank you for creating such unforgettable memories for our family. We stayed at Kudafushi Resort, and after our arrival it truly felt like we had entered paradise. I have never in my life experienced such attentive and welcoming staff. Whether at the reception, in the restaurants, housekeeping, or even the gardeners, everyone greets you with a smile and makes you feel at home. I would especially like to compliment the staff at the grill station, crêpe station, noodle station, and the burger and wrap station. It was such a pleasure talking to them and watching them prepare the food. Really a 10 out of 10 experience in terms of service. I also want to give a very big thank you to all the waiters. They were all incredibly kind and attentive, every single one of them. On my birthday, they surprised me with a beautifully decorated table, flowers, a birthday cake, and a song. Since I am usually a bit shy, it felt overwhelming at first, but looking back, I truly appreciated this thoughtful gesture and it made my day very special. As for the food, I personally found it varied enough. I am quite a picky eater, and I was always able to find something I enjoyed, even if I sometimes repeated dishes. Of course, the buffet is not as huge as in large hotels with thousands of guests, but that is to be expected on a small island with a limited number of visitors. During our stay there were also themed nights such as Spanish Night, Japanese Night, Maldivian Night, and even a vegetarian night. I found this a wonderful idea, because it gave variety and made sure that everyone felt included. On top of that, the more focused approach means less excess food, which is not only reasonable for an island of this size but also better for the environment. In the end, you get delicious meals and leave satisfied, and that is what matters most. The island itself is stunning. The turquoise water and the beach are simply breathtaking, and in my opinion, the main reason to come here. Honestly, if you just stay at the pool, you are missing the point. The beach and lagoon are the true highlights. During our stay, we also enjoyed relaxing at the Juju Bar. The atmosphere was great and the drinks were delicious. There are evening entertainment programs, but we were usually too tired to attend, so we cannot rate the entertainment. We also tried some of the activities. At the sports center, we rented a kayak, which is free of charge, and we went around the island. That was a wonderful experience. My partner also visited the diving center and tried the complimentary introductory dive. He found the staff there extremely friendly, and it was a lot of fun. In addition, he treated himself to a massage at the spa. It is certainly not cheap, but he said it was absolutely worth it. Since he prefers a strong massage due to back pain, he was very satisfied with the treatment and it matched his expectations perfectly. We spent about 6 to 7 days in a Beach Villa and then moved to a Water Villa for the last two days. Both were beautiful and luxurious, but we personally preferred the Beach Villa because of the direct access to the beach. The Water Villas are, of course, the iconic Maldivian experience, with a Jacuzzi bathtub and incredible views. However, I would have enjoyed the Water Villa even more if the stairs leading into the sea had not been so covered with algae, which made them slippery and less inviting to use. In the end, it comes down to personal taste, but both options are wonderful. Overall, Kudafushi is a paradise with outstanding staff, beautiful surroundings, and a truly special atmosphere.
