To get to JA Manafaru from Malé International Airport, the preferred option is to take a 70-minute sea plane directly to the island - guests will have access to the premium lounge in the seaplane terminal to relax and refresh before they fly, Alternatively take a domestic flight to Hanimaadhoo Regional Airport, followed by a 45-minute speedboat transfer.

Every interaction was characterized by genuine warmth and hospitality, making us feel valued and cared for throughout our stay. The culinary experience was equally impressive. The resort offers fine-dining standards across its restaurants, with beautifully presented dishes, exceptional ingredients, and a diverse selection catering to different tastes. One of the highlights of our stay was the Maldivian cooking class. Our stay at JA Manafaru in the Maldives was absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived, everything felt perfect. The island is stunning and has such a beautiful, relaxing vibe that makes you feel instantly at peace. One of the things that impressed us the most was how clean and well maintained everything was — the villas, the beaches, the restaurants, and every corner of the island. You can really tell the team takes great pride in keeping the resort impeccable. As vegans, we were also blown away by the variety and quality of the vegan food. The chefs prepared so many delicious options for us, and every meal was creative, fresh, and incredibly tasty. If the vegan dishes were this amazing, we can only imagine how great the rest of the menu must be for everyone else. Out of the four stays I have had in the Maldives, JA Manafaru was by far the best, especially when it comes to service. The level of attention and care from the staff truly made this experience stand out. A special mention must go to the culinary team, and in particular to Chef Moosa. He was always available, smiling, and genuinely joyful, even during what was clearly a very stressful period. His positive energy and dedication made every dining experience feel personal and special. The New Year’s Eve buffet was simply outstanding, like a food-market-style setup with an impressive variety and exceptional quality. The house reef is beautiful, with a wide variety of marine life, making snorkeling a real pleasure. What also really impressed me was the management team: very present, approachable, and always available, which creates a reassuring and welcoming atmosphere throughout the stay. Overall, JA Manafaru delivers an exceptional experience, combining outstanding service, excellent cuisine, a beautiful reef, and strong, attentive management. A truly memorable stay and without hesitation the best of my Maldivian experiences so far.
