We had a brilliant stay at this hotel. Plenty of positives, but also some negatives: Negatives: * The rooms are very dated. They had terrible water pressure and the hot/cold water was unpredictable. There were accessibility issues too. It badly needs a refurb. * The buffet is very limited. Much smaller than other five star hotels we’ve stayed at, and the quality isn’t the best. Positives: * The staff are amazing. They can’t do enough for you and are always so positive and smiley. * The restaurants (excluding the buffet) are, on the whole, very good. There are some consistency issues, but overall they’re very good. * The entertainment was great. The Ouzo evening entertainment was a highlight. The kids’ shows are good too.

Currently on day 3 of 6 here at Ikos Oceania and I just had to start writing this review early because honestly it’s been incredible so far. I’ll come back and update this once the trip wraps up, but I wanted to get my thoughts down while everything is still fresh. The buffet has been really good. Lots of variety, fresh stuff, and they switch things up enough that you don’t get bored eating there. We also booked a couple of the à la carte restaurants and 100% worth doing, the food was absolutely delicious. Definitely take the time to reserve them if you’re staying here, you won’t regret it. The staff though, that’s what really stands out. Everyone we’ve interacted with has been so genuinely nice, not that fake hospitality smile you sometimes get at resorts. They actually seem to care. I’ll be honest, we’re already talking about when we can come back, and we still have half the trip left. That should tell you something. Will edit this post with my final thoughts once we’re back home, but for anyone debating whether to book, I’d say go for it.

First time at an Ikos hotel and it won't be my last. Service was amazing, lovely setting. Rooms were good, we were given a Junior suite but other than a sofa in the room it didn't feel much different. Lovely balcony with a view of the sea. Room was very nice with all amenities, including a fully stocked fridge replenished every day. Food options were amazing, with a buffet restaurant and numerous themed restaurants to eat at, didn't have one bad meal. There are Mini clubman cars you can loan each day if you wish to explore and lots of activities on site as well. There isn't a great deal on your doorstep other than a small town about 20 min walk away or 5 min taxi (Provided by the hotel obviously). You can book meals via the Ikos app and what'sApp the hotel with literally any request, I had a different pillow from the pillow menu delivered in about 3 mins! It's on a hill so the journey from the beach up to the main building is via steps or a VERY steep roadway, no worries as there are always golf buggy's available to take you anywhere around the complex. Finally the staff, these are what make this place truly excellent nothing is too much trouble. I could write a list of people whose service was exemplary, but a special mention to Alex in the main lobby bar, and Julio who worked the pool area. I will most definitely be visiting this or one of the other Ikos hotels.

Heaven is a place on Earth - and its name is Ikos Oceania! Where to even begin? This is our 2nd time to Ikos Oceania (our first time was 3 years ago) and our 3rd overall stay in the Ikos hotels. From the moment you arrive, you are treated as a king/queen. Anything you could want for is answered, if there is anything you want specifically and it is not found in the hotel, you simply tell the staff or the concierge service and they will do everything humanely possible to make sure you recieve what you want/requested. You are catered to the entire day - be it in the lobby/in the room/pool/beach/restaurants. You will never go hungry and will most likely gain a couple kgs ;) The atmosphere is so relaxed and peaceful, you really have the best time of your life here. The location is the best - the sea is beautiful and sunbeds are set for you to enjoy wherever you are. However much the hotel itself was fantastic, but it was the staff who truly made the experience unforgettable. From the management down to the cleaning ladies - everyone makes you feel welcome and strives to do their best so you are happy at all times. The staff we remember especially are Nicolas the reception manager - who went above and beyond for anything we wanted and requested! I have never seen this level of service and commitment. The swimming instructor Effie, Julio, George and Ibrahim from the main pool, Tasos and Greg who served us at the beach and the cleaning lady Julie who made sure to open our day with a "Kalimera!" every morning. Despina, Maria and Theofilos from "Flavors" restaurant. Heleni from the Indigo bar. Alexandra, Igor and Sofia from the concierge service, who have done their best to accomodate our every request. But truly EVERY last one of the employees here are wonderful. And if for any reason you feel it's too peaceful and you would like some good shows, then worry not because Ikos delivers - every day you have a different show with a wonderful cast that gives a great show! My only setback is that the rooms are slightly dated and in need of renovation. But as I understand this is planned for the upcoming year. Try as you may I guarentee you will not find this level of commitment to service anywhere else, and this is why, above all, we keep returning to Ikos.

We had a beautiful holiday in IKOS Oceania. The resort is very well presented, the food is exceptional and the staff were the best we have ever experienced. Overall we highly recommend this resort. I’ve experienced some good service at other resorts but nothing compares to the IKOS Oceania team. Nothing is too much trouble and not once did we receive anything other than the warmest of welcomes and superb customer service. By the pools you are catered for drinks and food and at all the restaurants you don’t wait for anything. At the adult pool is Eva. She spends her entire day ensuring you have everything you need. Her catchphrase is “Anything to make you happy” and you know she means it. She is funny, charming and kind and even cleaned our sunglasses. JuLio at the main pool was also very attentive and friendly. Exceptional! Irini was also a delight, visiting us daily at the main pool to ask how our holiday was going, informing us what was ahead with entertainment and of course organising anything we needed. Konstantina in the adult only room in the main restaurant was delightful, truly cares and so friendly. Special thanks to Nasia on reception who organised our late check out which made our last day so much more enjoyable. They were all wonderful, truly exceptional. We would definitely return here and will try more of the IKOS resorts in the future. An excellent holiday made even better with that incredible customer service from all the staff.
